I have to admit that I am usually not impressed by the musical performers at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. However, this year, I am looking forward to seeing several acts perform, including Rick Springfield, The All-American Rejects, HUNTRX, Goo Goo Dolls, Charlie Puth, Leon Thomas, and a few others. There is someone for everyone, even the kiddos, who will be in bed.

Who are you looking forward to seeing rock out before, after the ball drops, and just afterwards?
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if someone who is pitch-perfect sang the National Anthem? Well, we are going to find out at the Super Bowl because the NFL has asked him the Star-Spangled Banner at the beginning of the big football game.
Puth will be joined by Brandi Carlile, who will perform America the Beautiful, and Coco Jones, who will sing Lift Every Voice and Sing.
“Super Bowl Sunday is the world’s biggest entertainment stage, and we’re proud to spotlight artists who embody the very best of music and culture,” said Jon Barker, senior vice president of global event production for the NFL. “Beyond the game itself, the Super Bowl is a global celebration. These artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans around the world.”
It was also announced that Deaf Performers Fred Beam will perform the National Anthem and Lift Every Voice and Sing, Julian Ortiz will sign America the Beautiful, and Deaf Puerto Rican performer Celimar Rivera Cosme will team up with Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl Half Time Show.
Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on February 8th.
We know Charlie Puth as a lyricist and a singer with perfect pitch, but the newlywed wants to be known for more than that.
So, he reached out to Roku, and they gave him a show so that he can expand his career beyond just music.
The Charlie Puth Show will feature artists, comedians, and icons from every area of the pop matrix, the famous faces that populate the show help Charlie to navigate his heightened reality where his career neurosis and musical perfectionism often gets in the way of his peace and sanity, ultimately parodying the very zeitgeist that Charlie’s trying to conquer.
The 6-episode mockumnetary debuts October 4th on Roku. Hopefully, when it is over, kids will no longer say to him, “Shawn Mendes, the better version of you.” I felt that pain, and I know and accept that are a lot of people who are a better version of me.
Charlie Puth has a perfect pitch, and now he is married to his perfect match. The singer and Brooke Sansone tied the knot on September 7th at his family’s Montecito home.
According to Vogue, Puth sang Aerosmith’s I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing as his bride walked down the aisle amongst their friends and family.
The newlywed’s wedding date took place two days after he proposed to her in 2023. They started dating in June 2022.
But that did not stop Puth from writing this to announce his nuptials: “I love you Brooke…I always have, with you I am my very best.
“I promise I’ll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, And now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth.
“Thank you for making me the happiest man alive.
“It has always been you.”
I can’t wait to hear the romantic songs he writes about his Mrs.
Nothing can stop him. Not even nothing. The musician made music with nothing.
He recorded nothing, played it back on his computer, and we heard a note. He added that note to his keyboard and converted it into bass, drums, and a snare drum.
