Adam Sandler was on Good Morning America today, and he had a black eye. Before the anchors could start interviewing him about his Netflix movie Hustle which starts streaming on Wednesday, they had to know what happened to him.

In typical Sandler fashion, there is a funny story behind it. The comedian explained that he was sleeping in bed, and the sheets were tucked in too tight. So, he decided to kick the sheets to loosen them up. However, he forgot that his phone was in the middle of the bed. Therefore, when he kicked up the sheet, it caused the phone to go flying and hit him right below his eye. Even though he felt there was blood on his face, he was too tired to do anything about it at that moment.

Sandler doesn’t think it looks cool, but the people on the streets of NYC think it gives him street cred. As a NYer, he is right. It does! That’s how we roll in the City.

Talking about black eyes, Michael Strahan better hope LeBron James doesn’t give him one after this interview. Why? When Sandler told the former football player that he has a similar build as the basketball player and James could’ve played with the pigskin too, the GMA host responded with “No!” And then he added, “But I could’ve played basketball.” Strahan, those are some fighting words, and my money would be on LeBron.

Normally, networks release their Fall schedules during the Upfronts. However, Fox went into the day without confirmed renewals of 9-1-1 and The Resident. The network was able to finalize the deal right before the presentation, but they were not prepared to release their lineup at that time.

Now, almost a month later, Fox finally let us know when their shows will air. I am OK with almost all of it. But I just wish they would’ve bumped their live-action “comedies” to midseason and put Fantasy Island on after Hell’s Kitchen. I have been waiting too long for new episodes, and it is always all about me.

So over the weekend, I was thinking when is Netflix going to give us an update on Manifest. You know, since they saved the series after NBC cancelled it?

Well, I guess they were listening to my thoughts because they released a clip from the final season today at Geeked Week.

The streaming service didn’t say when we will get new episodes, but they did say, “The passengers of Flight 828 don’t know what’s about to hit them.”

Now, I definitely need a premiere date because I need to know what is going to hit them.

Boris Kodjoe posted a photo of himself in just swimming trunks. And now, I need to call Station 19 because I am on fire, and he needs to hose me down.

Damn, who knew the 49-year-old looked that good with clothes? I think that ABC show about firepeople needs to have him wearing a lot less threads next season. Although, Kodjoe’s body might be too hot for 8p!
