Tonight at 9p on NBC, we say goodbye to This Is Us. We don’t know what is going to happen, but we know there will be tears.
The other night there was a screening of the finale, and Extra’s Rachel Lindsay asked Milo Ventimiglia who cries the most of the cast. The actor didn’t answer her question, but he did reveal that Chrissy Metz is the first one to shed the tears, followed by Mandy Moore, and then the rest of them turn on the waterworks.
Now that we know who starts the crying chain let’s find out what Ventimiglia took home from the set. The patriarch of the drama said he took Jack Pearson’s watch and wedding ring, along with a crew chair. Why a crew chair? He said, “For me, we have our names on our stuff, but that’s what the crew sat in. That’s what I hang on to remember, the crew chair.”
However, he doesn’t really need the chair because he is taking the crew with him to shoot his pilot for ABC called The Company You Keep. And we all need someone like him to be in the company we keep. When you are loyal to the people you work with, they will be loyal and grateful to you. Kindness is an amazing thing.
Steven Tyler has had problems with addiction for many decades, but he has been sober for a while. However, he recently had a relapse, so he is getting the help he needs. Because of that, Aerosmith announced today that they will be cancelling the first part of their Las Vegas residency that was supposed to start next month and continue through until July.
“As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery,” Aerosmith said in a statement. “Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time.”
Hopefully, now that he is on the road to recovery, he will be able to be back on the touring road soon, much to the delight of his fans.
Marla Gibbs shared a video of herself working out, and I can’t believe she is 90.
Mostly because I am about half her age and the actress worked out more than I did. But then again, I have a sprained ankle, and I can’t lift things over my head like her. Because, my ankle.
Seriously, we should all be as energetic as the Jeffersons star is when we are her age.
Tom Cruise is promoting his new movie Top Gun Maverick, and he stopped off at The Late Late Show with James Corden. Well, technically, because the actor never entered the studio.
Instead, the two men did Fighter Jet Karaoke from the sky! I mean, it would not have been as interesting if they did it on the ground. OK, yes, it would be because imagine seeing a Tom Cruise driving a jet on the road next to you? But to the viewer at home, it would be boring.
Anyways, Cruise did some stunts, and Corden’s underwear wasn’t clean. Then again, if I were in jet upside down, I would do the same thing. Who wouldn’t? Tom Cruise is who wouldn’t.
After two days in the air with Cruise, Corden is safe on the ground to be any movie musical that comes out. Much to the disappointment of fans of movie musicals.
