Did the Ghosts put a curse on Sam and Jay?
April 21st, 2022 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on CBS, it is time for the season finale of Ghosts, which is way too soon. But that is not the point.

Anyways, Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) are finally ready to open their B&B because the first guests have booked their stay at the Woodstone mansion.

There is only one problem, they have termites and their next-door neighbors are threatening to shut them down. Therefore, they have to wonder if they are cursed?

It turns out that the couple is cursed, and Thor (Devan Chandler Long) is the one that did it to them. Luckily, the Viking knows a way to undo it. All Sam needs is to get some sugar and cinnamon.

Once Sam has those ingredients, it is time to undo the curse. But if she gets rid of it, does that mean she will no longer see the Ghosts? So before she does it, Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Sass (Román Zaragoza), and Flower (Sheila Carrasco) say goodbye to Sam in case she loses her power.

Will Sam give up seeing the Ghosts in order to break the curse? I can’t tell you. But I can tell you it is a perfect season finale for a perfect season.

The networks think we want grit and violence, but we want wholesome fun. So, CBS took a risk with Ghosts, and it paid off for them and for us. The series that some thought would be a failure turned out the be the biggest new show of the season. Hopefully, we will see more like it next season. And even if we don’t, then we still have Ghosts. And it better get more than 18 episodes because that is not enough. Then again, 52 wouldn’t be enough either.

Thank you to EPs Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the writers, and the cast for giving us a show that always leaves us with a huge smile on our faces.

If you are someone who prefers to binge programs, then you will want to binge Ghosts on Paramount+. It is worth giving it 9 hours of your time. Probably more than that because you are going to watch at least a few of the episodes more than once. I know I have watched all of them multiple times.

Nicolas Cage was stalked by two mimes
April 21st, 2022 under Jimmy Kimmel, Nicolas Cage. [ Comments: none ]

Nicolas Cage did his first national talk show appearance in 14 years, so Jimmy Kimmel had a lot of questions for the actor to make up for the lost time.

Did you know that Cage wanted to build a movie studio in Las Vegas, but Elon Musk got the money instead to build whatever he built?

Then there was the time that the Oscar winner was a winner at the roulette table. He turned $200 into $20,000 in 30 minutes. Does he still gamble? And what did he do with the money? You are going to want to hear what he did with the dinero.

Did Cage really have a two-headed snake? Yes, and the story of how he got it is epic.

Diane Kruger told Kimmel that Cage bought a cave full of bats, did he? I won’t answer the question, but I will tell you why he wanted it. He wanted to get naked with his ex-wife in it and drink Saki. That image made me think how can Nicolas Cage top himself in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent when the original is so much better than what anyone can come up with of him.

And finally, was Cage stalked by a mime? No, he was stalked by two of them. How did he react? He told the Jimmy Kimmel Live host, “That is just so weird. That is one of those things that made me ask the proverbial question, ‘Why?'”

With everything he told the ABC late night host, the fact that the double mime attack is what he considers weird is all you have to know about him. He is, and always will be, a legend.

And what is wrong with all of the bookers that haven’t booked Cage in 14 years? He is better than most of the guests that they have had on their shows. I hope this is the start of us seeing him on more talk shows, more often. I can listen to him go on and on.

Who knew Jimmy Fallon has chest hair?
April 21st, 2022 under Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

There are a lot of things we know about Jimmy Fallon. But did you know he has chest hair? Well, he does.

Yesterday, on The Tonight Show, he debuted his hairy chest for a sketch about French President Emmanuel Macron having chest hair. Oh, so maybe the host really does have a smooth chest, and that was fake hair? Damn, is nothing on television real?

BTW I had a thought as Fallon was doing a French accent for the bit. He could be France’s new Jerry Lewis. Tell me you can see that too? Please do because I don’t want to think I am zany like the two of them.

Selena Gomez has cleavage
April 21st, 2022 under Selena Gomez. [ Comments: none ]

Selena Gomez is petite, so I don’t think of her as having a noticeable chest. However, in this TikTok, she has one. Who knew? Did you know?

Maybe all of the laughing she does on the set of Only Murders in the Building with Steve Martin Short caused them to grow?

A spider spun its way into our hearts on This Morning
April 21st, 2022 under This Morning. [ Comments: none ]

You have to love live television because you never know what is going to happen. This Morning on This Morning, a spider crawled its way onto the set, and it made its international television debut.

The eight-legged monster was minding its own business, but Holly Willoughby was terrified of it like it was the villain in a Spider-Man movie. Therefore, she asked someone to trap and release the bug.

At first, they were unsuccessful. But then they trapped the “ginormous” insect under a glass. And the show was able to go on.

Am I the only one upset that they didn’t have a Benny Hill moment where it kept getting away from his captures? Now that would’ve been hilarious, especially if they played the Benny Hill theme music as they tried to capture him.

Such a missed opportunity. Can we get a new spider tomorrow? And preferably one from Australia. Then Willoughby will really be jumping out of her seat.
