Before Ming-Na Wen played a doctor in ER, she studied law on As the World Turns. She looks the same now as she did when she was 24 in that 1988 episode.
Wen talked about her first big role to Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Ryan, and what she says is so true. Soap Operas are the best training ground for actors. To hear what she said, then click here!
Are you bummed that you have to wait until June for new episodes of The Boys on Prime Video? Well, today, they announced that we will be getting an animated spinoff before that.
The Boys Presents: Diabolical is going to release all the episodes for the first season on March 4th. We don’t know much about the eight episodes, but we do know that they run about 13 minutes and will reveal unseen stories within The Boys Universe.
We also can tell from this short clip that is going to be a lot of fun, just like the Emmy-nominated anti-Superhero series. I can’t wait to watch it with the Superhero loving kids in my life. That is what they get for making me sit through all of those Marvel Universe movies.
Louie Anderson is in the hospital because the actor is battling cancer.
His publicist told E News, “Iconic comedian Louie Anderson is currently in a Las Vegas hospital being treated for DLBCL Diffuse large B cell lymphoma, a form of cancer. He is resting comfortably.”
Hopefully, the 68-year-old is in the early stages and will beat it.
Michael Weatherly announced today that this will be Bull’s final season on CBS.
“Hello all! It’s been my privilege to play Dr Jason Bull but after 6 Seasons of incredible storylines, I’ve decided it’s time to pursue new creative challenges and bring his story to a close,” the actor wrote. “It has been an honor to work with this talented cast, crew, and writing/producing team who helped reinvent the legal drama. Stay tuned for a big series finish…Thanks to all the fans from the bottom of my heart. You will always be a part of our Bull family!”
Is the news a surprise? Not really; it has never been a ratings juggernaut. This year has been even tougher on the show that was moved to Thursdays at 10p. That, and it was controversial after Weatherly was accused of sexually harassing Eliza Dushku and CBS gave her an almost $10 million settlement.
In other cancellation news, NBC is no longer in business with Ellen DeGeneres. That is because they cancelled Ellen’s Game of Games after four seasons, according to Deadline.
Back when Shaun Cassidy was a teen idol in the ’70s, he spent his life in front of the camera working on shows like The Hardy Boys Mysteries. Now that he is 63, he is working behind it on New Amsterdam. I don’t know why because he looks just as good now as when he was on the cover of all of the teeny bopper magazines. So much so, I can not believe that he is his age? Do you believe it?
While he might not be acting, he is still singing. If you want to see him perform live, then he has some shows coming up in June. You can find out more information here.
