The animated version of DC’s Harley Quinn is not for kids. There is sex, drugs, and Rock’n’Roll with a lot of cursing mixed in. Therefore, a scenario where Batman is caught giving Catwoman oral sex seems normal for the series. However, DC disapproved of the storyline.

The show creators, Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, talked to Variety about how DC deep 69ed, I mean deep-sixed, their plans for the scene. “It’s incredibly gratifying and free to be using characters that are considered villains because you just have so much more leeway,” says Halpern. “A perfect example of that is in this third season of ‘Harley’ [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”

Too bad they didn’t allow it because there are so many jokes they could have told. I am sure Marvel would have allowed it.

It might be the beginning of the Summer, but The CW is preparing for the Fall now. Today, they released when their 2021-2022 season will begin.

Mark your calendars because you are not going to want to miss the season premieres of their series.

Oh, and they saved the best for last because The Flash and Riverdale will start their seasons off with 5-episode events. What that means, we will just have to tune and see.

Yesterday was Daryl Sabara’s birthday, so he spent his first one as a dad with his wife and son. Together, Meghan Trainor and he said, “I love you” to their son Riley. Then the new dad got the best present in the world. His 4-month-old mini-me said it back to him.

Yesterday, Phillip Schofield gave Holly Willoughby a creepy doll that gave her nightmares. This morning on This Morning, they gave her a present that will give her sweet dreams.

What is it? She got to interview three of The Dreamboys. One of the members from the all-male revue was in the studio, and he decided to take his shirt off. As soon as he did, Willoughby forgot all about that doll. So did I.

I think it would be a dream if they could cross the pond and do their show here. We sent them Magic Mike, so this would only be fair. Am I right?

Last week, Manifest aired its season 3 finale with a lot of cliffhangers. Today, we found if all of those cliffhangers helped get the show another season. It did not.

The show’s creator Jeff Rake wrote, “My dear Manifesters,

“I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us. That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest”

I am OK with the show ending. That is because anytime a Sci-Fi show brings the Bible or Gd into the storyline, it spells death or boredom. It happened with Supernatural when they added an actual Gd character onto the series. The same happened with Lucifer this season. And it spelled doomsday for Manifest when they tied 828 to Noah’s ark. The second they mentioned that I was still tuning in, but I was also tuned out.
