Before Katherine Heigl put herself through med school as a model on Grey’s Anatomy, she was putting herself through elementary school doing that for J.C. Penny?

For a week, Wendy Williams has been teasing the unveiling of her wax figure, and today it made its debut on her show before heading over to its home at Madame Tussauds New York.
If you asked her, “how ya doin’?” after she saw it, she would be say flabbergasted. The talk show host was astonished and amazed by it. As she should be because it is a prettier version of her.
You would think with the 800 hours they spent on making sure they perfected every little detail; they would have made one important phone call. That call would have been to the plastic surgeon who gave her that face. The chin area is too narrow, while Williams’ face is wider.
The wax museum did a good job. They just didn’t make it look exactly like the person they were intending to be.
The Hollywood Press Association has very restrictive requirements to be a member of their group. Because of that, Hollywood has criticized the mostly white male group. This year it all came to a head, and Amazon, Netflix, and Warner Media, along with several celebrities, said they were boycotting the Golden Globes.
Even though HFPA made some changes, they were not enough. Therefore, today NBC made a tough decision.
“We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform,” said the Comcast-owned network this morning, according to Deadline. “However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”
I doubt the show will be back. There are too many award shows, and with falling ratings, the Globes are not worth their $60 million price tag. Isn’t that crazy?
We don’t miss the Daytime Emmy and the People’s Choice Awards, so we won’t miss the Globes. I hope the other organizations become controversial so we can have even less award shows. Do we need any more? I would be OK with just the EGOTs being the only ones.
ABC announced today that Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will be back for another season.
That means Ellen Pompeo will keep us guessing all season long if she will do another season for more money than she deserves. If she quits or the show gets cancelled, then her career is over. Can you see her found anything but Grey’s? She has barely don’t anything else in the 17 years?

I will say something nice. At least Station 19 is returning. Now can they stop doing those crossovers that aren’t really crossovers?
UPDATE: Fox picked up Call Me Kat with Mayim Bialik for a second season. Not to be catty, but that show is so not funny. I tried 5 episodes, and even my cat told me to stop. If they want to get me to watch, just live stream kitties in the Cat Cafe. Then I will be hooked.
UPDATE 2: Fox cancelled the serial killer procedural Prodigal Son after two seasons.
Tori Spelling has been making comedy videos on social media, and they are more sad than funny. I don’t know what the mom of five was trying to accomplish here, but she made me swear off french fries and chicken nuggets.
If that is what the boys find sexy these days, no wonder I can’t find one.
