Before Eric Stoltz was an only child in Mask, he had an annoying sister in The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank. He looks the same now as he did 16 in that 1978 movie.
Stoltz worked with Charles Grodin, who passed away from cancer today at the age of 86, on this film. The actor had sweet words for the man who played his dad.
One of my very first jobs was in this TV movie, playing Charles Grodin and Carol Burnett’s eldest son. They were wonderful to us young actors just starting out, and went out of their way to teach us, make us feel welcome, and give us advice about ‘the business’.
Years later he invited me to be on a talk show he was hosting, and we ended up talking about death and loss and how our society doesn’t really teach us how to handle all these inevitable events. It was a wonderfully awkward and kind of touching conversation, and I’m grateful to have known him.
What is scarier than a T-Rex? A Tyrannosaurus with Ebola. On June 8th, we are going to find out how terrifying he is when Ebola Rex comes to a television near you.
It is even more horrifying for me because I am based in Los Angeles, and that is where he is destroying everything in his path. Thankfully, I rarely go to Downtown LA. If I did, then there is no way I would buy this movie on Home Video.
Since I stay north of the 10, then I can’t wait to see this film. It looks so bad, you know it is going to be great. The secret to a good horror movie like this is when they are in on the joke. The second they take themselves seriously, is when it goes to crap. Believe me, I grew up on this genre, so I know what I am talking about.
Now, I can’t wait for Coronadile, a crocodile injected with coronavirus. They could also do Pirahnolio, aka piranha with polio. What else do you got?
Dave Annable shared a photo of him and his wife in bed surrounded by a film crew. Then, he captioned the photo with, “When one ovation just isn’t enough for me…”
So are the couple who been married for 10 years getting into porn? Nope, but they are living out a fantasy on camera. That is because the two of them are starring in Fox’s sequel to Fantasy Island. Now I am more excited for the show that debuts in August. Not as excited as Dave, but close.
We got to know Jennifer Love Hewitt on Party of Five, and in a few months, she will be living it. That is because the actress and her husband, Brian Hallisay, are expecting their third child together. They are already the parents to Autumn,7, and Atticus, 5.
“We had always been open to a third, but definitely didn’t think in the crazy year that the entire world was having that it would necessarily be this moment,” Hewitt, 42, told People. “I feel like we’ve been able to so far raise two really special kids who will be great role models. This has been such a pleasant, beautiful, surprising gift in this time to be able to get to do all that again with another little human.”
It was one of those little humans who knew his mom was pregnant before she did. Hewitt says they were all watching TV together in the bedroom when a commercial for Clear Blue Easy came on. As soon as he saw it, he told his mom to get one just in case she had his brother or sister inside of her. She got the test, and he is getting a sibling.
Will her character on 9-1-1 be giving her newborn baby a sibling too? She didn’t say. However, she did say it was weird to give birth on the drama while she is pregnant. That has to be confusing, but it is Hollywood and nothing makes sense.
Helen Keller is a role model for the deaf and blind community and people who aren’t in it. She was the first person to earn a Bachelor’s degree with her disabilities. This was during a time when it was even difficult for women to go to college.
After she graduated, she became an outspoken person for people with disabilities, women’s rights, and against racial inequality.
Keller was an inspirational woman. So much so that Barbie is honoring her with a doll in their Inspiring Women series.
“My favorite part of the design process for the Inspiring Women series is the research,” Carlyle reveals. “Because of her achievement as the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, I wanted to capture that time in her life, imagining what she might have looked like and worn as a student at Radcliffe College in the very early 1900s. I found a few pictures of a young Helen during that time and combined that with research on women’s style during the Edwardian period.”
Keller is the 12th doll in the series. She joins an elite group of women in this category. They are Amelia Earhart, Billie Jean King, Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, Sally Ride, Ella Fitzgerald, Maya Angelou, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, Katherine Johnson, Frida Kahlo, and Florence Nightingale.
If you want to add Keller to your collection, the beautiful doll is available now for $29.99.
