Tonight at 9p on Fox, get ready for the purrfect show HouseBroken that is about a bunch of arfdorable animals in therapy.
Let’s be honest, if you have a pet, you have thought about sending them to therapy to understand what is going on in their mind. We are not alone; Clea DuVall had the same idea when she was working on Veep with Executive Producers Gabrielle Allan and Jennifer Crittenden.
“I have a cat who I have a very complicated relationship with, who just seems like permanently dissatisfied. I wanted more than anything to be able to go to a counselor together so she could tell me what needs I wasn’t meeting so I could finally make her happy,” DuVall said at the Fox Summer Press Day. “And then I started thinking about that would be such a great idea for a show, getting into what animals’ interior lives are really like.”
Once she was ready, she pitched it to Allan and Crittenden, and the rest is Hollywood history.
Tonight, you will see, or should I say hear, DuVall give animals the voices they need. However, they will sound like her, Will Forte, Lisa Kudrow, Tony Hale, Nat Faxon, and Sam Richardson.
Alyssa Milano is really intense when it comes to politics. However, she decided to lighten up. At least her hair, that is. The actress is no longer a brunette; now, she is a blonde.
Do you know what? It works. She looks like a boss. Ah, so now we know who’s the boss.
Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley and Dave Baksh were recently on SiriusXM’s Pop Rocks, and they talked about seeing their music on the big screen.
Whitley said that when he heard In Too Deep in American Pie, he felt that it ruined the party scene in the film. Baksh added, “That is the thing about this band…We were supposed to be a part of Zoolander…We saw the scene we were supposed to be a part of, and we were like, we are going to ruin this scene.”
Why do they feel that way? “I don’t know if Jerry Finn [their late music producer] got into our heads, and the self-depreciation just reached a whole new level, ” Baksh said. “Every time we see our song, and we are together in a room, and we see it in a movie, we are just like, ‘man, we don’t know if this fits.'”
I think their music fits everything. Well, maybe not a love scene, but everything else.
Jason Mraz owns a coffee farm with his family in San Diego. What happens when you drink it? It makes you poop. Therefore the singer wrote a song about that. It is called The Jason Poop Song, and those are the lyrics.
Now, that Josh Groban wrote about farting, Mraz wrote about pooping, it is time for Michael Bolton and Michael Bublé to get into the mix.
Now that Josh Brolin’s daughter is 2, it is time for Westlyn Reign to learn how to use the potty. Therefore, her dad showed her. Instead, of him teaching her by sitting on his toilet, he got down to her level and sat on her plastic throne.
It is moments like this that Barbra Streisand turns to her husband, James Brolin, and tells him, “He is your son, not mine.”
But for me, it shows that he might play the villain in the Marvel Universe, but at home, he is a big old softie.
