What is, Jeopardy pays tribute to Alex Trebek
November 9th, 2020 under Jeopardy. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, we sadly lost Alex Trebek to stage IV pancreatic cancer. Before tonight’s episode of Jeopardy started, Executive Producer Mike Richards paid tribute to the beloved host.

“He loved this show and everything it stood for,” Richards said. “He will forever be an inspiration for his constant desire to learn, his kindness, and for the love of his family.”

Trebek loved doing the game show so much that he filmed his last episode less than two weeks ago. There are 34 more unaired episodes, and they will air between now and Christmas Day.

Thank you, Alex. What is, we will never forget you.

What’s better than two Vanessa Hudgenses?
November 9th, 2020 under Netflix, Vanessa Hudgens. [ Comments: none ]

Vanessa Hudgens and Vanessa Hudgens are back in The Princess Switch, and this time they have a new co-star. Her name is Vanessa Hudgens. That’s right, in The Princess Switch: Switched Again, the actress will play three roles instead of just two.

Netflix describes the sequel as, “When Duchess Margaret (Hudgens) unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with boyfriend Kevin, it’s up to her double Princess Stacy of Belgravia (Hudgens) to get these star-crossed lovers back together… but the course of true love is complicated by the appearance of a handsome royal who’s intent on stealing Margaret’s heart. Throw in the unexpected arrival of Margaret’s outrageous party girl cousin Fiona (Hudgens), a third look-alike who has ambitions of her own, and you have the recipe for Christmas triple trouble!”

The film starts streaming on November 19th. If you have not seen the first one, then you should watch it now. It is a sweet Christmas story with a Prince because that is one of the must-haves in a holiday movie. That and the baker who meets her true love. Check two things off of the nice list, I mean, Christmas movie list.

Alfonso Ribeiro is dancing with his laundry
November 9th, 2020 under Alfonso Ribeiro. [ Comments: 1 ]

Alfonso Ribeiro started out his career as The Tap Dance Kid. Then he danced with Michael Jackson in a Pepsi commercial. Even though he did a lot of memorable things on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, he is most known for the Carton. Finally, the actor won Dancing with the Stars.

You can say that dancing is a big part of his life. Therefore, it makes sense that dancing is just part of every aspect of his life, including laundry. Here he is dancing with his new LG Wash Tower. Who knew washing your clothes could be sexy, but he makes it that way. He can do my laundry anytime! Actually, anyone can. Who wants to do it for me?

CBS’s Friday night dramas will be back on December 4th
November 9th, 2020 under CBS, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

A few of CBS’s scripted shows were back on the air last week, but we still don’t know when we will get new episodes of their dramas on Friday nights. Well, that was then. Today, they announced that MacGyver, Magnum P.I., and Blue Bloods are returning to airwaves on December 4th.

About time they made this announcement because I have been missing my Reagan family dinners.

Blue Bloods also revealed that Whoopi Goldberg is recurring on the show as City Council Speaker Regina Thomas. Now you can view her on Friday mornings and nights.
