On August 8th, Elizabeth Gilles and Michael Corcoran finally said I do, three months after their original wedding date.
The Dynasty actress and her producer boyfriend were slated to get married on April 25th in Atlanta, but then the coronavirus pandemic happened. They decided to postpone their nuptials and reschedule them for a year later.
Gilles told Vogue, “Then, as time went on, we decided a big wedding was no longer something that made sense for us. The virus really put things into perspective. That being said, we did want to get married as long as it could be done in a safe and intimate setting with a group that we trusted.”
In July, the couple decided that they wanted to get married a month later. With just weeks to plan, she found the perfect place in her home state of New Jersey. The betrothed couple bought an RV, packed up their dogs, and headed north. They spent two weeks in her childhood home until their big day arrived.
When it was time for her to walk down the aisle, her father was by her side. When they got to the end of the runway, he jumped in front of his daughter so that he could officiate the ceremony.
It was a beautiful, intimate affair between ten loved ones and their dogs. You didn’t think they brought their babies up there and didn’t have them be part of their big day.
It was a much smaller wedding then they planned on, but it is one they will never forget.
Congrats to the two! Fallon Carrington would be jealous.

Kanye West appears to be having one of his moments. While I try to ignore them out of respect for people with mental illnesses, this Tweet got to me.
Kanye has accomplished so much in his career that many singers dream of having, and here he is literally peeing on it. So many artists would love to have a Grammy, and he is using it to sh!t on all of their aspirations.
I am sick of Kanye saying he is a man of Gd, and yet, he barely donates any of his millions and millions of dollars or take care of anyone else’s needs besides himself. He and his wife, Kim Kardashian, are billionaires, and they spend more money on lavish parties than anything else.
Why don’t they open mental hospitals to help people with bipolar disorders. Kardadshian wants prison reforming, how about opening up transitions centers to help them when them get out? They could also open centers for children to thrive in. The options are limited, but yet, he pees on a Grammy award.
Remember this is a man, who became main stream by declaring that soneone didn’t deserve an award she got. Well, I don’t think Kanye deserves any of his. So there.
Back in May, I was surprised that ABC picked up Stumptown for another season because it did not do that well in the ratings. That was then, today, the network cancelled the series that stars Cobie Smulders.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, they made the late decision reversal because of production delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, and creative differences with the way they were taking the show. They needed more time to come up with scripts that they big whigs approved of, and that would have delayed the show too long. Therefore, it was another casuality of COVID-19.
While ABC is no lonher movie forward with it, they are shopping around to see if someone else might be interested in it. Since it is part of the Disney family, maybe Hulu will save it.
Before Seth Meyers was playing games with his guests on Late Night, he was doing that on Spin City. He looks the same now as he did when he was 27 in that 2001 episode.
