Conan O’Brien is the only talk show host who still goes to places he shouldn’t in his bits, and he went there again with one that he aired on his TBS talk show yesterday.
I have been able to comment on some of his sketches like the Human Centipede Menorah, or the one when Kim Kardashian’s unborn child ran out of her uterus when it found who his mom was going to be during a sonogram. However, this latest bit is one that leaves me without something to say.
How do you respond to a used dildo being used as the Tactical Schlong? You don’t! You just say, “It is so Conan.” At least one late night host still knows how to do things that are not political and make you laugh when you should not. When did the other ones get so PG-13?
BTW where can I get the Tactical Schlong? It has two different uses for me.
A few days ago, there were several reports that Dave Franco is going to play Vanilla Ice in a movie about the rapper. There is just one person who did not know about it. That person is Rob Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice.
How did Rob react when he heard the news? The Ice Ice Baby singer said, “Well, I woke up to some excitement today. Dave Franco announced that there’s going to be a movie about my life. And I don’t know how official it is, to be honest with you.” It doesn’t sound like it is going to be official at all if they didn’t tell the person it is about that they are going to make it.
Does Rob have any animosity towards Franco? Nope, he thinks he is a great guy, and he is “super honored.” However, he does some advice for the actor if he wants to be as Cool as Ice. Rob said, “Dave, you better learn how to dance. You better get some rhythym, bro.” Say what you want about Rob, but he did have rhythm back in the ’90s when he was charting with the rap songs.
On that note, Rob also revealed he is working on a documentary about his ’90s. Ice Ice Baby is coming out in the fall. He wants to remind us all to have fun again. Sometimes it feels like that was so last century. Get it?
Amazon Prime announced today at Comic-Con@Home that they picked up The Boys for a third season, a month and a half before season two debuts.
Not only that, Aisha Tyler will be hosting Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys after each episode. Cast members, creatives, and special guests will talk about each episode from the second season after each episode premiere. The after-show will give us some insight into what we just watched. Sometimes we need that explanation because you never know what just happened even though you just saw it with your own eyes.
If you don’t know what that means, watch season one before season two debuts on September 4th, then you will understand what I just said.
Amazon Prime is not the only ones spreading the good news, Netflix picked up Sweet Magnolias for a second season. The show’s star, Joanna Garcia wrote, “I have been counting down the minutes to be able to share the news! @netflix has renewed @sweetmagnoliasnetflix for another season!
