Corey Hart reworks Never Surrender for today’s world
May 29th, 2020 under Corey Hart. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1985, Corey Hart was hot off the success of his #1 hit Sunglasses At Night, and he recorded the followup hit Never Surrender. A lot has happened to him and the World since then, so he decided to give the pop ballad a soulful modern update.

He explained why he chose to do this. “Aspirational dreams of youth coupled with naive, unaffected simplicity led me to write a song called ‘Never Surrender’ some 35 years ago.

“Today as I gaze out onto the uncertain sea of change, I’m reminded of the kind, resilient people in our world who keep moving forward with steely determination and steady stride – that yes indeed, ‘just a little more time is all we’re asking for’.”

Since he is a little older, his voice has also matured over time, giving it more of a raspy sound. That makes the single even more haunting and beautiful.

How come this never happens when I am on a Zoom call?
May 29th, 2020 under Pornody. [ Comments: 1 ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_CYjT16Ou8
I have heard all of these exciting stories about things going on during Zoom calls, but I have yet to experience anything that makes me want to swivel my chair.

Things like a man thinking he had disconnected from a business call when he didn’t. Because of that, he didn’t know he was still on camera when he decided to reward himself for a job well done by polishing the trophy while watching PornHub.

His co-workers got to see a different side of him. One that is all about loving himself and not the job.

The moral of the story is you don’t want to be, literally, be caught with your pants down while you are working from home. So make sure to keep it SWF. That is unless you are into everyone seeing how you are not SFW.

How are you going to celebrate National Masturbation Day? Isn’t it exciting that it has its own day? For most people, it is 365 days a year. Well, this year is 366!

Well, I am off to celebrate by getting off.

Dawn Wells spills the coconut creme pie on Gilligan’s Island
May 29th, 2020 under 60s. [ Comments: none ]

So sit right back, and you’ll hear a tale. In 1964, seven people went on a three-hour tour, and we are still talking about them today. Of course, I am talking about Gilligan’s Island. And Dawn Wells, who played MaryAnn, is talking about it to Studio 10’s Craig Bennett.

The actress revealed secrets to him about her fellow castaways. She says that Bob Denver was a shy man, unlike Gilligan. However, he was funny like his character. Alan Hale, Jr. loved playing the Skipper up until his death in 1990. Jim Backus was just as cheap as Thurston Howell. While Natalie Schaffer was as proper as Mrs. Howell. When it comes to who she thinks MaryAnn would have had an island fever with, both her and her character had a thing for the Professor, Russell Johnson.

Although, he was never going to see her bellybutton. Back then, they were not allowed to show the whole thing. A half-moon was OK, but not a full circle. She says cleavage was also a no-no. Imagine what would have happened if Raquel Welch had landed the role of the sweet girl next door?

One thing, most girls next door know how to do is cook, and Wells showed us to bake a coconut creme pie. How yummy does it look? I told my friend to make it bake it for me because I don’t do that.

Like many people, Michael Bublé is not dressing up during the coronavirus pandemic while he is at home. However, sometimes he has to look like he is working. Therefore, he puts a suit on top and wears Donald Duck PJs on the bottom. It is like a mullet, as in business on top and party on the bottom.
