Back in 1994, America fell in love with a little show called My So-Called Life. Even though everyone was talking about it, the show only lasted one season. To this day, its cancellation remains one of TV’s biggest mysteries.
In fact, fans of the show are still wishing and hoping for a revival of the drama. While that might not be happening, the cast got together on Zoom. What did we get out of it? This photo with Wilson Cruz (Rickie Vasquez), Bess Armstrong (Patty Chase), Devon Odessa (Sharon Cherski), Tom Irwin (Graham Chase), Winnie Holzman (creator), Paul Dooley (Chuck Wood), Mary Kay Place (Camille Cherski), Devon Gummersall (Brian Krakow), A.J. Langer (Rayanne Graff), and Claire Danes (Angela Chase).
There is only one person missing, and it is Jordan Catalano (Jared Leto). The man who stole every girl’s heart including Angela’s.
Not sure if he stole Cruz’s heart, but this is what he had to say about everyone else who is still close to his heart. “Sooo… This happened the other night. Most of the #MySoCalledLife cast was available for what turned out to be a very comforting, sweet, heartfelt and overdue reunion. We all have such love for each other, even 26 years later. It was overwhelming to see all of those faces together. A little silver lining around this covid cloud. We had a time… Left to Right starting at the top…”
I hope this photo is enough to make some television executive say we need to bring this show back and bring it back now.
I don’t know about you, but I get sucked down the TikTok rabbit hole multiple times a day. If there is one thing that pisses me off about, it is how many times I hear Megan Thee Stallion’s Savage and Drake’s Flip the Switch. It is like if I hear those tunes one more time, I am going back to Instagram.
If only there was a way to make one of those songs go away? Gilbert Gottfried found that way. He decided to sing Savage, and it fierce, like him. Fierce is not the right word; it is ferocious. Like a lion, I think he scared that single down a rabbit hole, and it will never be heard from again.
At least for me, it will never be the same. I think it actually got worse. Who knew that was possible? But obviously it is.
Peacock, NBC’s upcoming streaming site, is bringing some of the network’s favorite shows back, and today we are getting a look at one of them.
Slater (Mario Lopez) and Jessie (Elizabeth Berkley) are back in their old haunt, Bayside High. Instead of having all of their friends around, they are surrounded by their kids. How will that work out for them? We will find out when Peacock launches in July.
I am not sure how I feel about the show. I was a Zack and Kelly girl. This show feels very Slater heavy, but it could just be how they edited the trailer because Lopez thinks he is the star.
Will Forte is so good at keeping secrets that no one knew he has been engaged since the end of last year. Unfortunately for the actor, his father is not as good at keeping his mouth shut.
Last week on Who Wants to Be Millionaire, his dad spilled the tea. He said, “My full name is Orville Willis Forte III. He’s Orville Willis Forte IV.” Then he added, “He’s currently engaged, and says if he has a boy, they’ve both agreed, it’s a possibility it would be Orville Willis Forte V. Not a decision, but a possibility.”
Did the fourth Orville Willis Forte and his fiancee agree to do that? The actor said they are thinking about it.
Who is the lucky girl? According to People, Forte met Olivia Modling in 2018, got serious in 2019, and got engaged before the year ended. No word when they will be walking down the aisle. To find that out, we will have to ask his dad! He has no problem sharing all the details.
