Wheel of Fortune did something unusual on Thursday and cancelled a taping of the game show because “Pat Sajak underwent successful emergency surgery to correct a blocked intestine.” The game show says, “He is resting comfortably and looking forward to getting back to work.”
Since the show must go on, it did so with Vanna White as the host. No word if she had to do double duty and turn the letters too. Which would be quite entertaining if that was the case. However, I doubt that they would do that to her.
I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to see her episodes. If I were Sajak, I would be nervous because I betcha she is going to do a great job.
BTW would it be wrong to say that Sajak is so full of sh!t and that is why he had the surgery? It is something I think he would appreciate with his sense of humor. Get well soon, Pat.

Supernatural has been on TV for 15 seasons and it has aired every night of the week on The CW except for Sunday. Therefore, it makes sense that for its final episode, it will air on a different night than the one it started it on in the fall. It will conclude its run on Monday nights. The Riverdale spinoff Kathy Keene will take over Supernatural’s slot on February 6th. Roswell is back on February 16th with Supernatural as its lead-in.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return on January 21st, then it will take a week off so that Arrow can say goodbye with a 2-hour episode.

NBC is gearing up for 2020 and they announced when one of our favorite shows is ending and when our future faves will debut. The Good Place gets a 90-minute sendoff on January 30th. Right after the series ends, Seth Meyers will host a tribute to the heavenly sitcom.
On Monday, January 6th, AGT: Champions is back. Then on the 7th, Ellen’s Game of Games is back and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist gets a special preview. Finally, on the 10th of that week, we will get to know Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector.
On February 6th, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back on the beat. The 16th gives on the season premieres of Zoey and Good Girls. On the 24th, The Voice is back with some guy names Nick Jonas.
Lastly in March, Little Big Shots returns and Council of Dads debuts.
Although not confirmed, it looks like the fat lady is singing for Perfect Harmony.

ABC announced today that Fresh Off the Boat will be ending its run in February with a one-hour series finale. The sitcom about the Huang family has lost a lot of its audience since it moved to Fridays this season, so the news is not a surprise.
I have to admit, I am OK with the cancellation because Constance Wu soured the show for me. Back in May, she let her feelings be known that she was unhappy that the series was picked for a 6th season. While many actors, especially Asian ones, would love the opportunity to be part of a weekly show, she was pissed. Now that the sitcom has been cancelled, I am able to cancel her. I think Hollywood should do the same because she is ungrateful. If she can say this about one of her projects, she can say that about the rest of them.
She should be happy with the work because she is a one-note actress. Plays every role the same.
Back to FOTB, this season has not been as good. It feels off is the best way to put it. My guess is because Wu also soured the show for them too.
Finally, my prediction is that the series finale will be about Eddie going away to college, since it is based on his life.

She included her 2 guest stars, Demi Lovato and Molly Shannon, her co-stars Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes, the sitcom’s network handle twice, the director James Burrows and the Executive Producer David Kohan. However, no mention of Mullally. Which makes it seem as though she will not savor every last minute with the only other female lead on the revival. Which is really sad. You would think after working together, on and off, for 21 years, nothing could come between them, but it did. It happens to all of us. However, we wanted them to be friends forever.
