It has been 42 years since A Star is Born came out and it is like no has passed for its two leads, Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. The two of them not only reunited at Hyde Park yesterday, but they also performed a song from their Oscar-winning movie.
Watching them sing Lost Inside of You, it made me think that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga have nothing on them. They could have easily done a sequel and it would have been even better. Maybe for the 45th anniversary, we can find out what happened to Esther Hoffman and John Norman Howard. Make it like a behind the music of what they have been up to. Their ups and downs. Their hits and misses. Their fights and makeups. And so. Would you go see it? Instead of another remake, let’s get an update.
