Is it the Fourth of July without the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Challenge from Coney Island on ESPN 2 and Joey Chestnut winning the competition? Well, he did it again for the 11th time by downing, not eating, 64 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
Seeing all of those men swallow frankfurters and their buns whole makes me want to skip eating weiners all together today. Although, it also gives me a lot of impure thoughts. If you know what I mean!

We are less than six months away from Christmas, but Dave and Odette Annable are celebrating it in July. Is it because the season starts earlier and earlier every year? Nope, they are starring his holiday-themed movie for Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas and the happily married couple are filming No Sleep ‘Til Christmas now.
Talking about getting no sleep ’til Christmas, they are not getting any now thanks to their awwwwdorable 2-year-old daughter, Charlie Mae, who is happy to celebrate whatever holiday her parents are celebrating whenever they are celebrating it. As long as it means she gets sugar snack and presents.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding’s Nia Vardalos filed for divorce from CougarTown’s Ian Gomez yesterday, 2 month and 2 days before their 25th anniversary.
The former couple celebrated another anniversary on June 29th. One that is much less joyous because they separated a year ago on that date according to the papers attained by The Blast.
The actress asked for joint custody of their 11-year-old adopted daughter, Ilaria.
They also released this joint statement, “We’ve been respectfully separated for a lengthy period of time. Our relationship became a friendship so the decision to end the marriage is completely mutual and amicable. It is our hope that decency will prevail on the reporting of this story which will soon be yesterday’s news. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

Since Goose cannot be in Top Gun: Maverick (because he is dead and all), they decided that Goose’s son can be part of the sequel. Who do the producers think looks like a young Anthony Edwards? According to Variety, they decided to give that title to Miles Teller, who also does not look like movie mom, Meg Ryan, either. I guess they think we are too stupid to figure that out.
Having said that, I like Miles Teller, I just think they could have done a better job casting the son of two iconic actors.
