Meghan Markle, who played Rachel Zane, got married to some guy in England and her TV husband Patrick J Adams is pursuing other opportunities.
For season 8, there are going to be some changes for the legal drama that has the right amount of cursing. We will see more of Dule Hill and that is a great thing in my book. Amanda Schull will be taking center stage now that she is a series regular after all of these seasons. And then there is the addition of Katherine Heigl, who returns to TV after her last television show that was also a legal drama and costarred Hill. See this paragraph went full circle!
Anyways, I was nervous about the changes when I heard that the Duchess of Sussex and Adams were leaving, but these previews have me all like who were they? I cannot wait to see what happens next because this show with 8 legs is grabbing me like a spider and I am trapped in its web! Hopefully not one of deceit.
One last note, poor Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) he cannot catch a break. Unless he gets Sheila back now that Rachael Harris’ show was cancelled. Grrr.
Tiffany Haddish did a photo shoot for W Magazine in a sequin gown that left very little to the imagination. Although not everything you see is as it is. For example, you can tell the belly buttons do not match up. But I know you, you are not looking at her belly button.

Paris Jackson was staying at her friend’s place when another friend called her to tell her that someone had vandalized her father’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As soon as she heard that, she ran to Walgreen’s, picked up some nail polish and cleaned the star up.
Jacko would be so proud because you cannot even tell there was once graffiti on that star. Not only would the King of Pop be proud of his daughter, so will radio host Michael Jackson whose star she actually cleaned up.
At the time, she did not know that. How does she feel now that she knows? She said, “i don’t think it was intentionally targeted it at him. i think it was probably just some young kids fucking around. but to me a name is a name and i couldn’t just hear about it and not go see it for myself.” Good for her. When it comes to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Ana Martinez, who runs it, had this message for all of the Jacksons, “That is terrible. I will show to @LAPDHollywood Thanks.” She means it because she takes good care of her boulevard!
Seriously, why does anyone feel the need to deface any of the stars? OK, there is one star I can see defacing, but the rest I do not.
Back in 2001, Drake went by Aubrey Graham and he was on a little show called Degrassi: The Next Generation. Now 17 years later, Wheelchair Jimmy thought it was time for a high school reunion and got the OG cast together for his music video I’m Upset.
The reunion included Stacey Farber, Adamo Ruggiero, Lauren Collins, Jake Epstein, Christina Schmidt, Andrea Lewis, Melissa McIntyre, LinLyn Lue, Stefan Brogren, Jake Goldsbie, Marc Donato, Dalmar Abuzeid, A.J. Saudin, Miriam McDonald, Cassie Steele, Nina Dobrev, Sarah Barrable-Tishauer, Paula Brancati, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith. The rapper even made sure to invite Ephraim Ellis, the actor who made him Wheelchair Jimmy.
My favorite part of the video is when we heard Snake rap. Who knew Brogren could do that? Dare I say it, he might even be better than Drake? Granted those of us who watched the OG Degrassi knew that from when he was in The Zit Remedy!
Talking about zits, can we talk about how the class after Drake’s all turned out to be hot? His class all look the same, the next class went from geeks to on fleek.
When it comes to the video itself, I hated it. it was too dark for me. Degrassi touches on dark subjects, but it is still a feel-good show. This shows they all grew up to be f*cked up. Instead of remembering them like they were in this video, I will choose to remember them as they are in this behind-the-scenes photo that Lauren Collins aka Paige shared. That is the Degrassi we know and love!
