The ending of Get Out made Lil Rel Howery a star, but the original one might not have had the same effect.
When Rel was on Larry King Now and he revealed what we saw at the end of the movie is not what he saw originally. What he saw, he says was impressed him, “But I was also sad.” He explained, “The first time I saw it, was the original ending. I could not even sleep that night. I called Jordan [Peele], my brother, ‘This is great, but I’m so angry.'”
What made him so angry? In the original ending Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) goes to jail and Rel’s character visits him. When Rel asks him why, Chris owns to it all and says it because he is Black in America. That ending did not sit well with the actor and others. Therefore, a month before the movie came out they reshot it to one we saw.
Did they make the right choice? Considering the Oscar nominations, I think so.
Mario Lopez goes from getting celebs to dish, to dishing about his days on Saved By The Bell to Today. He talked about everything from his mullet to which cast member he talks to the most. That person is Elizabeth Berkley, his girlfriend on the popular show.
So would they have wound up together? He does not think so. Slater would have explored the world and he could not do that with her. Instead, in 2018 he would be a married ex-wrestler, who is now a teacher, and has 5 kids.
If that is what we could expect from a possible revival, I am OK with them not doing one. I want him to be a Playboy! What about you?
The first trailer is out the Welcome to Marwin. A true story about a man who was beaten so severely, he does not remember the attack.
An attack so devastating not only his mind but also his body. He lost the ability to draw, which is what he did for a living. Therefore, he came up with an alternative to express his creativity. He told his story via dolls. A story so powerful people, he touched the people around him. Now, it is going to be touching more people.
18 years after he was attacked for being different, his story is being told on the big screen and Steve Carrell will be playing him. The movie tugs at our heartstrings and it looks like Carrell could maybe bring home the Oscar for his performance.
The only thing is that Universal should not be pitching it as the feel-good holiday movie because it is not. It has its moments, but it also looks like a real tearjerker. One I cannot wait to see. What about you?
Jessica Chastain has had the same hairstyle ever since we got to know her, but not anymore. Gone are the waves just past her shoulder and hello is a layered bob.
Now you can tell her apart from Amy Adams, Isla Fisher and Bryce Howard Dallas. Which makes the ginger as hot as her fiery red hair.
What do you think of her new look?
UPDATE: The “summer cut” is for It: Chapter 2 that comes out next September.
Eva Longoria became a household name when she played one of the Desperate Housewives. Yesterday, she took on her toughest role when she became a mom for the first time. Her and Jose Baston, her husband of 2 years, welcomed Santiago Enrique into the world yesterday. Not even 48 hours old and he already has his first cover on Hola USA. What a cutie!
