America Ferrera is about to have her first baby any day now. You know what that means? Baby shower time. Just like Betty Suarez would have done, Ugly Betty invited her coworkers to the shindig.
Those costars included Vanessa Williams, Becki Newton and Judith Light, and they look closer than they ever looked on the dramedy. Which was the purpose of their friendship on the show.
And on that note, seeing them together like that, I wonder why can’t we get an Ugly Betty revival? ABC could totally use it. Plus, Ferrera can be a mom, and shoot Superstore and Betty at the same time. Give her some traveling pants and she can do anything. Right? So what are they waiting for?

I know a lot of people look at Roseanne as the most politically conscience show on television, but they are wrong. That title belongs to Superior Donuts. Tonight at 9p on CBS, the show takes on ICE.
Randy (Katey Sagal) tells everyone that she is going to have work with ICE agents, but she really does not want to. That is when everyone in the shop starts to debate the topic. Everyone has a different opinion on the matter. No one more than Sofia (Diane Guerrero). Everyone thinks she might be here illegally, so they want to figure out how to protect her. Franco (Jermaine Fowler) comes up with a plan to keep her safe and it involves the donut shop. The only thing is that they cannot tell Arthur (Judd Hirsch) about it. Will they be able to hide them from Arthur and Randy?
What makes Superior Donuts so great is that they take on every side of story and ones you never figured on. Tonight, they show how the liberal, an immigrant, an old guy set in his ways, a cop who has to work with ICE and someone who illegal immigration is close to, all deal with the politically charged topic. By the end of the half hour, you will have a whole new outlook on the issue than you did before. This sitcom is educational while still being hilariously funny. We need more of that on TV!
Then at 10p but over on NBC, it is time for the Good Girls season finale. And what a way to end the season.
Beth (Christina Hendricks) is convinced that Rio (Manny Montana) is going to kill them. Therefore, she comes up with a plan on how to take him out. That is with the help of her sister, Annie (Mae Whitman), and best friend Ruby (Retta).
Turns out the timing is perfect because Ruby needs the money ASAP to pay for her daughter’s transplant. Did you know you need to pay for it upfront? And the surgery comes to almost $90,000. That is after insurance pays for 80% of it.
Anyways, the three women come up with the perfect plan. Just as they are executing it, all the lies that everyone has been hiding start to be revealed. Each one will have a different consequence. All leading to a shocking ending that will cause you to beg NBC to bring back the show for another season.
All I will say is not everyone gets their happy ending. Actually, none of them do. Which is why we need a second season of this show that proves that Good Girls can be bad girls too! About time we saw shows like this on TV. We know that man can be bad, but so can us ladies. As Mae West said, “When I am good, I’m very good. When I’m bad, I am better.”
Carol Burnett is 15 years and 11 months older than Vicki Lawrence, and that does not stop the daughter and mother from celebrating their birthdays together. Granted the younger one is the mother in this scenario which makes their relationship as funny as them.
When I think of the great comediennes, I think of these two hilarious women. Ever since the first time I saw The Carol Burnett Show, I knew that women could be hysterical. To this day, they are my idols. Therefore, seeing that they are still friends (after over 50 years) just made this gloomy day so much brighter.
Hopefully, they are someone else’s idols, and that person will have more influence than me. So much influence, they will give them a show. Who would not want to see them share the screen again? Especially since it has been 40 years, one month and a day since their variety show ended. Can you believe it has been that long? They look even better now than they did then.
In April 2017, Timothy Omundson suffered a stroke. Since then, he has been working his a$$ of to get himself better. Yesterday, the Psych star gave us an update and he wanted to let us know that he is, “Not dead yet.” As we learned from Galavant, nothing, not even a stroke, can keep the King down.
Get well soon, I cannot wait to see what you do next because I know it will be brilliant. Remember, you have the mark of Cain to make you immortal. Supernatural is real, right? If that is not good enough, then you played Gd on Lucifer. That means you have this healing thing in the bag. So kick its a$$ into an eternity.
The cast of The Last Man on Earth loves to talk about Will Forte’s ability to fart on command. Well, looks like there is nothing coming between him and that noxious odor coming from between his butt cheeks. That is because he is only wearing one thing in this photo that Mary Steenburgen shared, and it ain’t covering his backside!
Too bad this photo is blurry because it leaves me wanting more. Kind of like last night’s episode that ended with a shocking and game-changing cliffhanger. I don’t want to have to wait until Sunday to see what happens next.
You know, if Forte and Mel Rodriguez wore this on the Fox show more often, I bet you their ratings would go through the roof.
