On March 11th, ABC is going to air American Idol and Fox’s counter programming will most likely kill it in the ratings. That’s because they have a lost interview with OJ Simpson where he describes what he thinks happened to his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman the night they were brutally murdered.
In 2006, he sat down with publisher, producer and host Judith Regan and that interview has not aired until now. OJ Simpson: The Lost Confession? will have limited commercials and is hosted by Soledad O’Brien. The two hour special will air a domestic violence PSA and it will also have a panel of analysts who will discuss the interview, providing timely analysis and context footage.
According to The NY Times Fox was going to air this interview in 2006, but pulled it because of outcry and criticism from both the public and the families of the victims.
Hopefully this interview will not be another Geraldo Rivera opens up Al Capone’s empty vault. Which means I will be watching every minute of it like we did the trial. Will you be watching this or Idol?
The Rock shared a throwback photo from Halloween and he says he dressed up as The Hulk? But all I see is the Jolly Green Giant. Give him some corn and DJ could totally star as the commercial legend. Although, if he were to play Bruce Banner’s alter ego, he would not have to be CGIed like Mark Ruffalo.
BTW how did they find that much green paint in all of Florida to cover him up from head to toe? That is more pints than it would take to cover his house.
