Nickelodeon is in early talks with Melissa Joan Hart and series creator Mitchell Kriegman to bring back Clarissa Explains It All according to The Hollywood Reporter. This time around the teenager is now a mom. No word if she would be the one explaining things to us or if her kids will. We also don’t know if Jason Zimbler, who played her TV brother, will be back. If he is not is there any reason to do the show? He was the real star.
Personally, out of all of the shows that Nick could bring back, this would not be in my top 10. I think this need to bring All That back with the original cast and a few of the later members. That is what I really want. Plus, Hart has become very polarizing since Sabrina the Teenage Witch ended and it has nothing to do with her politics even though I have read reports she thinks it is why we do not like her. I will never forget the rumors that she was upset she lost a People magazine cover to Farah Fawcett, who lost her battle to cancer. All MJH did was lose the battle of the bulge.
What do you think about Clarissa coming back? Which Nick show from the ’90s do you want to see them revive?
Chris Meloni found a bench and sat down on it. But there was a message on it, that is very scary to actors. That is because it reads, “Your 15 minutes of fame are about to expire.” What he is trying to say? Because I thought his show Syfy show Happy was keeping happy? Or maybe he saw it and knew that it was perfect for his sense of humor? I am thinking that is it. What about you?
Before Jaleel White had those Urkel dance moves on Family Matters, he was showing them off for Lionel Richie in a Pepsi ad. How cute was the 8-year-old in that 1985 commercial?
June is a time for weddings and the start of something fabulous, but for Young & Hungry it is the beginning of the end. That is because Freeform announced today that the second part of their fifth season will be their farewell one and it will debut on June 20th.
What can we expect with the final episodes? We get to see Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) and Gabi (Emily Osment) taking their relationship to a whole new level now that they are in both in love with each other at the same time. Yolanda (Kym Whitley) and Elliot (Rex Lee) are dealing with the new dynamic at Josh’s apartment. Back at Gabi’s place, her roommate Sofia (Aimee Carrero) gets tired of a being the third wheel to the new lovers, so she looks for her own soul mate.
It sounds like not everything will be answered in the final episodes, therefore Freeform is working on movie to wrap things up.
I am so saddened over this news because I loved this show. It kept getting funnier with each episode and I always looked forward to watching it. It never failed to make me smile every week.
I just don’t get why Freeform keeps cancelling their good shows and replaces them with crap. For example, Alone Together is one of the worst shows ever made for television and yet that is airing, and Baby Daddy isn’t and Young & Hungry is ending. Freeform’s loss will be other networks win because this is a talented cast will move on to new projects for us to enjoy them on.
I would say I would boycott Freeform over the cancellation, but there is nothing left for me to watch on their network. What about you?
