Drew Barrymore recreates her childhood photos
December 28th, 2017 under Drew Barrymore. [ Comments: none ]

Drew Barrymore has been in the limelight ever since she was barely out of diapers, and because of that she has graced many magazines and red carpets since then. InStyle compiled some of her best photos from when she was little girl and asked her to pose like that again. Does the Firestarter still have that spark? She never lost it throughout all of these decades. That is why we have loved her ever since she became friends with a little guy we know as ET: The Extra Terrestrial.

When it comes to how the 42-year-old, mother of two feels about reliving her past, she says, “These memories make me so happy.” Then she added, “And I am happy that I haven’t aged like an old leather bag. Have not touched my face ever! People have said I have here and there, funny enough. But I haven’t. I’ve just lived the exact life I wanted. Some messy. Some valiant. But this is just me. Plain old me over a span of almost 40 years!” And what a ride those 40 incredible years have been for her!

Not everyone wants to be Jimmy Kimmel!
December 28th, 2017 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t know about you, but I did not think that Jimmy Kimmel was a popular name. Turns out it is and FBE brought two of them together. Just don’t call Jimmy because they prefer to go by any other derivative for the names James but that one for obvious reasons. They hate when people compare them to the talk show host. Can you blame them? They are not him, but yet people give them crap about it all the time.

Do the two Jimmy, I mean James, Kimmels have anything in common besides their names? Nope, but the do agree that Not Jimmy Kimmel Live is their favorite show because as the younger James Kimmel said, “Tank your career, so I can get name back.”

I would think it would be good thing to share your name with someone famous, but I guess it has its drawbacks. More negatives than positives.

Watch Rebecca Romijn age 50 years in a few seconds!
December 28th, 2017 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn, TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

Rebecca Romijn has aged naturally and beautifully her whole life, but yesterday on The Librarians she aged 50 years in the time it takes to knock on the door. In order to age her and her co-stars, Lindy Booth, Christian Kane and John Harlan Kim, a half century like the rest of the town they were investigating, the makeup department really had to work their magic. And boy did they.

The Guardian posted a video of how they transformed the actress, from a young beauty into a woman who will be the catch at any old folks home, in a matter of hours. But to us, it looked like :40 seconds. The ageing transformation is the best I have ever seen, I would be surprised if they did not get an Emmy nomination for the work that they did on all of the actors in last night’s episode. No offense to This Is Us, but they can learn a thing from The Librarians’ makeup department in ageing someone.

Don’t believe me. To see the final product, then click here!

The things Taye Diggs will do to get a Lyft!
December 28th, 2017 under RENT. [ Comments: 1 ]

A post shared by Taye Diggs (@tayediggsinsta) on

How many times have you been waiting for a Lyft and to make the time go you shorter; you get up and dance? I have not either, but that is exactly what does Taye Diggs did. Well at least he says this video was for Lyft and not something he normally does when waiting for the car service. But let’s be honest, I can totally see his Broadway roots coming through in situations like this. Couldn’t you?

When it comes to his moves, he is a smooth criminal!

Lionel Richie reveals Hello started out as a joke
December 28th, 2017 under Lionel Richie. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of the love ballads from the ’80s, you think of Lionel Richie’s Hello. The slow song made women swoon all over the world, but wait until you hear how the song came about. He told CBS This Morning, “My producer, James Anthony Carmichael, he was coming by the house. And he walked around the corner and I said, ‘Hello, is it me you’re looking for?’ And I’m falling out laughing. And he turned to me and said, ‘Finish that.’ I finished the song, and we lushed it up with strings, forever and forever.”

How many times have you picked up the phone and said to someone, “Hello, is it me you’re looking for,” because of that song as a joke. Turns out we subconsciously we knew how that chart topping tune got its start. And my question to you, does it change your perception of the single?

Talking about single, that was something he did not want to be. You see, that is how The Commodores got their start. He told the morning news program, “This was a college band, how-can-we-meet-all-the-girls-in-the-dormitory band. You know, it was not supposed to be the career.” Nearly 50 years later, what was not supposed to be his career is still how he is making a living. Funny how life has it ways of working out.
