Last week, when The Last Man on Earth ended its episode, we saw Carol (Kristen Schaal), Melissa (January Jones), Todd (Mel Rodriguez), Gail (Mary Steenburgen), Jasper (Keith L. Williams), Erica (Cleopatra Coleman) and her newborn, aimlessly sailing away on the dingy that Pamela (Kristen Wiig) pushed them away in after she knocked out Tandy (Will Forte) in order to hold him hostage.

Tonight at 9:30p on Fox, they are left drifting away at sea hoping to find some land to call their home as they seek refuge from the nuclear dust cloud that is coming their way. Once they finally find an island, they discover they are not alone. There is another man (a mystery guest star who you will know who he is as soon as you see him), that has been there since before the virus happened. Meaning he has no idea it happened. How do you tell him that everyone but them is dead?

But back to Tandy, will he be able to get away from his kidnapper? Does he want to get away with her? Is the last episode we will see the two of them? Are the islanders getting their own show? How long will that Christopher Cross duet of Sailing go on for? You will just have to tune in to find out on the best comedy that not enough people are watching! Therefore, TUNE IN!

Hulu just released the first look at Stephen King’s series based on his beloved characters all living in one town, Castle Rock.

In the trailer, I saw references to The Green Mile, It, Cujo, Christine and Carrie, but the latter one is only because it was Carrie herself, Sissy Spacek. Anyways when a voice is finally heard in the promo, it says, “You have no idea what is happening here. Do you?” I was like you totally read my mind because I have absolutely no idea what is happening here. Yet, I cannot wait to see it.

The first trailer is out for 2nd miracle season of The X-Files aka season 11 and 2018 cannot get here soon enough. Not only because Cigarette Smoking Man is back, but also because it looks so freaking good.

The X-Files was the first revival show to totally get it right, which is why we are seeing so many more of them. Thank you Chris Cater, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson for continuing to show us the truth is still out there.

24 hours after Saturday Night Live aired last Saturday, 58 people lost their lives because some f*cked up psycho with more guns than anyone should ever own decided to terrorize innocent people for no known reason as they enjoyed Jason Aldean’s outdoor concert in Las Vegas. We were all sickened, saddened and shocked as we watched the news. With each press conference the number of dead and injured multiplied to numbers we could not fathom. There were no words, just prayers.

Then on Monday, the music world was saddened and shocked over the sudden death of Tom Petty at the age of 66 from sudden cardiac arrest.

As much as people want to laugh again, we need to be eased back into laughing. SNL found the perfect way to do that. Instead of opening the show with a skit about the White House, they had Aldean sing Petty’s I Won’t Back Down. Before the Country singer sang his first note, he told the audience, “This week we witnessed one of the worst tragedies in American history. Like everyone, I’m struggling to understand what happened that night and how to pick up the pieces and start to heal. So many people are hurting. There are children, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, they’re all part of our family. So I want to say to them, we hurt for you, and we hurt with you. You can be sure that we’re going to walk through these tough times together, every step of the way. Because when America is at its best, our bond and our spirit is unbreakable.”

SNL might have its problems, but they always know how to honor the tragic events of the week beforehand when need be. Sadly, that is happening way too often.
