Ariel Winter is the lady in red! |

Ariel Winter posed on the cover of Lapalme Magazine in a low cut maroon couture gown, and she was barely recognizable. Had it not been for her cleavage, I would not have known it was her. You know, since we are used to seeing her chest as much as her face these days.
Don’t get me wrong, I think she looks gorgeous here. She just does not look like the Alex we are used to on Modern Family.

The one thing The Rock cannot do! |

We know that The Rock can play football, wrestle, act, sing, dance, produce, cook, be a great dad, is a wonderful son, gives back to others, be his fans’ biggest fan and you have to wonder what is the one thing he cannot do? Today we learned that there is something he cannot do and that is paint. Here is a painting that People’s Sexiest Man Alive painted and there is nothing sexy about it. In fact, it is so childlike that if his daughter Jasmine wasn’t only 20 months old, I would swear she made it.
Now that you know there is at least one thing DJ cannot do, doesn’t that make you love him even more? It is nice to know that he is not perfect, but he is pretty darn close!

Chip and Joanna Gaines explain why they quit Fixer Upper |
| October 17th, 2017 under HGTV, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

I am not type of person who watches HGTV, but even I know who Chip and Joanna Gaines are. Their show Fixer Upper is one of the most watched home renovation shows on television. Therefore when they announced they were giving up their show at the height of its success, everyone wanted to know why?
Today they spoke Today and explained why they made the decision that they did. When Savannah Guthrie asked them if it had anything to with possibly saving their marriage, Chip said to her, “Look I’ll give them a little credence.” Then he explained why, “The most important thing in the world is Jo and I’s relationship, followed very quickly by these four beautiful kids (of ours). We didn’t want to push it, to redline it for so long that we woke up and realized we are at a point of no return. So we wanted to take a step back and focus on what is absolutely the most important thing to us.” And his wife confirmed his sentiment with, “We have this young growing family & I think that was one of the biggest reasons why.”
Now for the all important question that their fans want to know the answer to, would they do another show. Chip says, “Absolutely!” But first they are going to enjoy this break with their family. Then in time they will become part of our families again.
How upset are you that Fixer Upper is ending after 5 wonderful seasons? Who will be your new Fixer Uppers?

The sorry reason that Kevin Can Wait killed off Erinn Hayes’ character |
| October 16th, 2017 under CBS, Kevin James. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Kevin Can Wait started its first season top of the charts, it ended somewhere in the middle. Then Leah Remini guest starred on the show and people started talking about the sitcom. Then shortly after the first season ended, they announced that they fired Erinn Hayes and were hiring Remini as a series regular for this season. Therefore, people wondered how they were going to explain what happened to Kevin’s wife? Over the summer, they announced they were killing her off and they did it with barely a mention.
Now 2 weeks into the 2nd season and the ratings are again so-so, James finally revealed why they really switched up the show. He told The NY Daily News, “The plot of the show didn’t have enough drive,” Then he added, “If we got through a second season, I wouldn’t see us getting through a third one. We were literally just running out of ideas.” How do you run out of ideas after just one season. I mean, he did 9 seasons of King of Queens and you are going to tell me they had 9 years of ideas for that show?
He also said, “Now, I have to deal with my daughter in a different way, and she’s gonna go to college, or one’s getting married, or the holidays. And it deals with things in a different, weightier way.” Hard not to make a weightier joke here, so I won’t because it is way too easy.
Why can’t they just admit the show was not doing well and they wanted Remini to save it. At least that is how I and a lot of other people see it.
On a personal note, it is the only show I do not watch Mondays on CBS. Never got King of Queens, and I will never get this show.
