Before Christopher Knight was making a cool volcano on The Brady Bunch, he was building a fort with Marx Playsets. How cute was the 10 year old in that 1968 ad?
Even though it has been over 40 years since Barry Williams dressed up as Johnny Bravo on The Brady Bunch, he can still work that look. The 62 year old put on Greg Brady’s alter ego to promote the Summer of Me on Me TV. The new schedule begins today and includes his show that airs weekdays at 5p for a whole groovy hour. So if the Summer sun isn’t calling your name, then you can watch the Bradys, Remington Steele, ALF, Mr Ed and many more everyday on Me TV in your air conditioned place.
Tonight at 9p on Fox, it is time for the Lucifer season finale. It is an episode that was a whole season in the making.
Now that Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and his brother Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) finally have all the pieces of the sword, will they return to Heaven? To make matters worse, their mom (Tricia Helfer) is ready to explode, literally. Her human shell is falling apart and her time on Earth is expiring faster than a carton of milk. Charlotte goes to Dr Linda to fix her up, so that her illumination won’t kill any more people aka instantly burn them to death. The doctor comes up with a temporary fix, but how long will that last? Especially since she is the lead suspect in a murder that Chloe (Lauren German) is investigating. Time is of the essence and there isn’t much time left and desperation is kicking in for all of them.
Someone will take matters in their own hands to get the truth and sacrifices against their wills be made. All leading up to an epic conclusion and cliffhanger that will leave you saying WTF? As in can someone explain to me what just happened and what is going to happen?
Even though, I don’t understand the final few seconds, Lucifer has grown to be one of my favorite current shows on television. While so many shows have gone down hill, this one gets better with each episode. They know how to use the chemistry with the leads and not screw it up as they add more characters like some other shows aka Sleepy Hollow. As long as they keep that up, I will continue to watch this show live every Monday at 9p when it returns in the Fall.
