Pure Genius was the last show to debut this fall season, and it should come as no surprise that is was the last one to find out its fate. CBS announced today that they will not be asking to medical drama for any more episodes after the initial 13.
The news should not come as any surprise because they need two hour slots for the legal drama Doubt and the Training Day remake for the small screen, and this would give one of those shows a home. The other could go in Survivor’s timeslot until the reality competition show comes back. The news is also no shock because it is one of their lowest rated shows. And can I say for good reason. I like a good medical drama and this was just not that good. I barely got through the pilot and never tried it again.

Gary Busey is in NY to do a play and as he was walking to it, he gave us this little Christmas Carol. I know it is 3 days before Thanksgiving, but hearing him sing It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas has put me in the Christmas spirit. Who knew he was secretly Kris Kringle?
