It is the summer ’89 and Camp Stillwater is open again after being closed down for 5 years. Several of the past campers are now counselors. Just because they went to camp there, doesn’t mean they know the true history of the place. It is dark, it is scary and it is coming for them. What it is, we don’t know just yet.
Each week we will get clues to the camp’s past and also that of the counselors. They might look like an innocent teens, but each week we will learn their backstory. They each have done something bad and now they might be punished for it. At least that is how it seems.
Deb (Elizabeth Mitchell) is the new owner and she wants everything to go well for the grand reopening. Amy (Elizabeth Lail) is the new girl there, so it makes sense we start with her story first. Alex (Ronen Rubinstein), Jessie (Paulina Singer), Cricket (Amber Coney), Joel (Eli Goree), Blair (Mark Indelicato) and Blotter (Zachary Gordon) are the returning campers. If only they knew what they signed up for…
