Jeff Goldblum did a 90 minute special on Facebook Live and it is as spectacular as you would expect it to be. He sang all types of songs from Jazz to Disco, talked to the audience, asked Trivia questions, answered questions, made a sandwich, revealed his Adult Film Stage Name and so much more.
Why did he do it? He teamed up with Omaze to raise money for Oceana & Conservation International. But there is more. You can also enter to win a trip to LA to attend a VIP screening of Independence Day: Resurgence plus go to a party with the cast on Omaze’s website.
Back to the show, someone needs to give him a Variety show in the likes of The Carol Burnett Show. It would be a huge hit!

Last week, ABC cancelled Nashville and yesterday the season (possibly series) finale ended in major cliffhanger.
It seemed like everyone was going to get a happy ending on Nashville, but then the episode ended with Juliette’s plane going missing 90 miles from the city. Is she alive or is she dead? We don’t know and we were starting to think that we might never know.
But then after the show aired, Lionsgate TV Tweeted that they won’t leave us hanging because there is more to tell. Sounds like they might have someone who is interested in picking up the Nighttime Soap.
Which makes yesterday’s cloffhanger perfect for them. Depending on who picks up the show, will most likely decide Juliette’s fate. Even though Hayden Panettiere is the best part of the show, she is also probably expensive. Depending on how much money their new home has, will probably decide if her plane crashed or landed safely. Although, there are a few people I would like to see killed off before her.
Had the show come back to ABC, I assume she would’ve survived because there is no way they would let her go. But since it isn’t, I don’t know what will happen.
When it comes to where it might land, I am rooting for CMT and/or MTV. Both networks can do cross promotions with the show, a tour and music videos. Something CMT has already been doing.
It has been almost 10 years since the world was shocked to find out that 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. She was America’s little darling starring in her own Nickelodeon show, but the news put an end to it all.
Now she is a recently married mom, in her mid-20’s, ready to get her career back on track. She wants to make a name for herself and not just as Britney Spears’ little sister.
One of the best ways to do that in this day and age is to do a docudrama. On June 26th, TLC is going to give her one hour special called Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out and she will get to tell her side of the story. We will find out what has been going on in her life since she became a mom to Maddie. There has been ups and downs and the special will focus on one of those ups. She was asked to perform at the Grand Ole Opry and we will get to see that performance and all that goes into it.
This should be an interesting special focusing on someone who grew up in front of us and then on her own.
Dan Levy was up Schitt’s Creek when he had to film a sex scene for the show. That’s because his dad Eugene Levy, who also stars on the show, came down to the set to watch it. Conan O’Brien, like everyone else, was thinking why did the dad watch that in person, so he asked him that very question on his TBS show yesterday. The son revealed that his dad is like a “Dance Mom” who is proud to watch his kid at work. But the dad claims that he is a producer on the show and that is why he was there standing over him as he filmed it. Although his father admitted, “I’m not saying it wasn’t a little creepy. But, you know, it is kind of an icky thing when you are, you know, watching your kid doing a bed scene.” Then again, I am sure the kid has seen his dad go at in the American Pie movies, so they are even. Just not a thing you want to be even on.
Yesterday, I posted a photo of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher fighting over a huge fork, and today we found out who won. Princess Leia showed us she is the Queen of the Universe. But it was her brother Luke Skywalker who won the battle. He Tweeted, “So @carrieffisher possesses #TheFork but I managed to wrestle that #SilverSpoon from her pampered mouth!”
Proving not only have they played brother and sister for the last 40 years, they really are like brother and sister.
BTW I am assuming there were no knives involved in this scenario because in a galaxy full of lightsabers who needs a knife?
