Michael J Fox models the self-tying Nikes
October 21st, 2015 under Michael J Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1989, Back to the Future 2 predicted that we would have self-tying sneakers by now and we thought they got it wrong. That all changed today, on Back to the Future Day, because Nike created a special pair of Nike Mag for the movie’s star. Michael J Fox modeled his special kicks and they are cooler than Pepsi Perfect.
Only negative, is the sound it makes when they tie. It sounds like someone slowly letting the air out of a balloon or a baby crying when they are half asleep.
So what if the sound doesn’t bother you like it bothers me, and you want to own a pair. They will be available next year. Before you get too excited, only a few pairs will be auctioned off. Before you get too mad at Nike, they are donating all the proceeds to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. You can’t stay mad at them for long.
Plus, give it a year, someone will walk into the Shark Tank with their own version of the self-tying shoes and another person will pitch the Hooverboard.

How have I not seen When Men Carried Clubs & Women Played Ding-Dong?
October 21st, 2015 under Cheezy Flicks. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1971, a movie traveled all the way from 50,000 BC and for some reason I never heard of When Men Carried Clubs & Women Played Ding-Dong until today. The Italian movie, that stars Antonio Sabato, is finding a new life thanks to Cheezy Flicks. For just a mere $5, you can own this movie to watch whenever you want.
After watching the trailer, I foresee a lot of people (boys under 16) who will want to watch it over and over again. Especially since Playboy is no longer doing full nudes. Plus this movie takes place, when Hugh Hefner was just a kid so it is a fair trade.
Back to the movie, I wish they made films like this today, but they no longer have the balls to do it.

Happy Back to the Future Day!
October 21st, 2015 under Michael J Fox, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

It is the day that has been day almost 26 years in the making, It is October 21, 2015. Why is this day so significant? It is the day that Marty McFly travels to in Back to the Future 2.
There has been a lot of talk about what they got right and what they got wrong. One of the things they got right, is what the front page looks like on USA Today today. Granted that is because the newspaper recreated it for their print edition.
Not only did they cover what they covered back then, but they added a great little article at the bottom. If you want to read it, you can do so below.
How are you spending Back to the Future Day? I am going to the Burger King where they filmed part of the first one. They are having a Marty McFly March at 3:30p PT.

Tracy Morgan got a lot of animals pregnant at The Bronx Zoo!
October 21st, 2015 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Kimmel is in NYC this week and Tracy Morgan decided to give him a tour of The Bronx Zoo. Morgan picked that place because he recently bought it. The comedian was able to give them more information than any tour guide as they visited my favorite Bronx landmark.
At the end of the tour, Morgan revealed he’s trying to get some more giraffes at his zoo. He’s doing that by giving them some wine and singing Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On to them. Once he started belting out the love making tune, that is exactly what they did. Not only were the giraffes doing it but a bunch of other animals there did it too. Proving that not only can Morgan put a baby in a woman’s belly, but he can also put babies in all female species bellies. Way to go, Tracy!
