Fox’s Empire continues next season with Gotham & Brooklyn Nine-Nine
January 17th, 2015 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Fox announced today at their TCA Winter Press Day that they picked up Empire and Gotham for a second season and Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a third.
The news is not a surprise because all three shows have been kicking a$$ on the network. In fact, Empire is so huge it does better than the show it follows and that show is American Idol. No other show on Fox has ever been able to say that.
The only comment I have to make about next season is that I want more Penguin because I just can’t get enough of him!

Not the centipede she wanted between her legs!
January 17th, 2015 under Sex Sent Me to the ER. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p on TLC’s Sex Sent Me to the ER, a couple get jungle fever between their legs when they get bitten by a centipede as they were having sex. No one wants to get that STI, Sexually Transmitted Insect. Ouch.
Another couple’s wedding night takes the cake and that sends them to the ER.
Finally the last couple party too hard on a party bus on the way to Mardi Gras and they spend their night in a hospital.
I can’t wait to see what tonight’s lessons are because I always learn something new and interesting I shouldn’t do in the bedroom.

NBC might Ease on Down the Road with The Wiz live!
January 16th, 2015 under NBC, Nick Cannon. [ Comments: 1 ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFwAqYBDr2A
For the last two Decembers, NBC has done live productions of Broadway musicals. In 2013, the hills came alive with The Sound of Music and last year they decided they didn’t want to grow up with Peter Pan.
Today NBC’s Chairman of Entertainment, Robert Greenblatt, announced at the NBC TCA Winter Press Day that they have two options for their December live performance and they are The Music Man and The Wiz.
In the past, they announced The Music Man was going to be the one that would air, but they recently optioned the rights to Urban version of The Wizard of Oz.
Even though they are still 11 months away from the special, Greenblatt said, “we are actually looking very seriously at some casting options (for The Music Man.)” Then he added that the network just acquired the rights to The Wiz, and they might ease on down that road.
I am hoping they go with The Wiz because it is more modern. Well that and I like it more. I can already see Nick Cannon, Nicki Minaj, Lenny Kravitz and Taye Diggs as the leads.
Which musical would you prefer and who would you cast?
