Anna Kendrick was on The Late Show yesterday after the Christmas Toy segment and she told David Letterman that one of the toys looks like a “fur covered dildo.” The CBS late host told her he didn’t realize that until she mentioned it to him. After someone on the set brings it out to him, he tells her that is all he could see the cat toy as. I don’t know what took him so long because just like Anna that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it. So much so, I am going to order a Cat Paw for my pussy. For $9.99 (the price not inches) it is the gift that keeps on giving until she moans, “Meow! Meow! Meow!” and starts purring like crazy. I just don’t know if I should get her the black one, the orange one or the white one? I guess, I will get her one of each! I know she will love it because it is so purrfect for her.
BTW watch as Shannon Eis tried to hint that the toy is more than it appears to be on the surface.

Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Guillermo made the Guinness Book of World Records for wearing the Most Ugly Christmas Sweaters at one time. That number is 25 and by the 18th one, things turned ugly for the ABC late night sidekick. The normally happy guy was anything but buried under all of that cotton and wool and whatever else goes into making those wearing works of arts.
After the 24th sweater was managed to be put on him, it was time for the final one to be placed on him on the stage. He could barely move his upper and looked like a colorful mummy all wrapped up like that.
The best moment of the night came after Jimmy Kimmel laughed at him. Guillermo told him, “Can I tell you something? You don’t pay me enough for this sh!t!” The security guard normally grins and bear it, but this challenge proved too much for the cutest guy in late night. You can’t blame him, think how hot you are in just one sweater. Now imagine that feeling with 25 of them over your torso. It would literally make you hot under the collar…and every where else.
On a positive note, this is the second time he has been in Guinness’ book. The first time was back in April 2008 when he wore 100 pairs of underwear simultaneously. What will Jimmy Kimmel do to him next? Most socks? Most T-shirts? Most pants? Most necklaces? I guess we will have to wait to find out. That is if Guillermo is willing to do something like this again.
Sting attended Don’t Quit Your Night Job in NYC the other night and he sang a version of Every Breath You Take that was specially made for the show. They have a part of the live late night variety show that is called Musical Madlibs, where the audience submits words to fill in the blanks. This time it was The Police’s biggest hit and Gordon Sumners added their words to his infamous lyrics. What we got is a much better version of the overplayed ballad. So sit back and hear the best selling song of 1983 sung like it has never been sung before and will never be sung like that again. Which is shame because I love it so much more, but then again I always hated that song.
BTW it is nice to see Sting humbled enough to finally make fun of himself. I guess having a failed Broadway show can do that to a man who will do anything (including star in it) to make it a hit.
Dallas and Brad Woodhouse, who are political opposites, were having one their debates on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal call-in show yesterday, when a caller left them shaking their heads down in shame.
Dallas was all happy when someone from his home state called in, until he realized it was his mom, Joy. The two brothers have said that there are a lot of families like theirs, where one kid is a Democrat and the other one is Republican and she had something to say about that. She said, “I disagree that all families are like ours. I don’t know many families that are fighting at Thanksgiving.” She added, “I was very glad that this Thanksgiving was the year you two were supposed to go to your in-laws. And I’m hoping you’ll have something out of your system when you come here for Christmas. I would really like a peaceful Christmas.” She concluded her statement by saying, “I love you both.”
Steve Scully, the host of the show wanted to know what it was like raising those two boys. She told him, “Well, it hasn’t been easy.” And what also won’t be easy, is their family reunion this weekend with their mom. I am sure they are going to have a thing or two to say to her after this call.
If I were C-SPAN, I would give the Woodhouses their own show. Their mom can moderate as the brothers fight it out. I would watch and I hate politics. Would you tune in?
Dick Van Dyke was on Conan yesterday and Conan O’Brien told the legend that they way he danced in movies like Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was an inspiration to him. So Rob Petrie asked if he would like to dance with him and of course the TBS late night host said yes. Then the two of did a soft show routine that will make even the biggest Scrooge in your life smile.
Can you believe that DVD is 89 years old because he still moves like the man we grew up watching in all those Disney musicals. I guess it helps when you wife is more than half your age!!!
