Glenn Close and Jimmy Fallon are sloppy eaters!
September 13th, 2014 under Glenn Close, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon added a new game to his The Tonight Show repertoire where he and his guest will be left looking like pigs with slop all over their faces. The first victim was Glenn Close, and the Oscar winner was not afraid to get dirty. In fact, she handled it better than the NBC late night host. Therefore, she was the winner not only of the game, but of the night too.

Z Nation gives Zombies a whole new life!
September 12th, 2014 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBMAHsunAUs
If you are like me, then you are getting tired of Zombies and you’re over The Walking Dead. Well tonight at 10p, Syfy makes them exciting again with Z Nation.
It has been three years since the Zombies virus has taken over and humankind is dwindling down to nothing because of it. There is a woman working on a vaccine, and she thinks she might have perfected it. She tests it on several people, and it is starting to look like a failure. Just as she gives one last dose to a human subject, they are taken over by Zombies. Lt Hammond (Harold Perrineau) has their escape plan and puts it in to effect, but when he hears screams coming from the makeshift lab that they just deserted, he goes back to save the subject.
A month goes by and no one has heard anything from Hammond and his team. For weeks, he and the subject, who survived being bit, have walked around trying to get their to rendezvous point. Hammond needs to get him from NY to California so that his antibodies can be used as a vaccine. Which is a daunting task because there is barely any transportation left.
While on their journey, they come across some survivors and they ask them for their help. Since Garnett (Tom Everett Scott) and Warren (Kellita Smith) have no choice but to help them, they agree to do it.
Along their way to the meet up place they find a baby, a rarity in their day and age. They reluctantly take him with them because his mother was killed in a car accident and they can’t leave him. When they get to their destination, they find out that they area has been taken over by Zombies and it is a dead end.
Something happens when they are there that convinces Garnett and Warren to continue on with them and get the cure to California.
How will they travel 3,000 miles without turning into Zombies? We will just have to watch each week to find out.
While their story is on the East Coast (for now), Citizen Z (DJ Qualls) is on the West Coast, and he is the main contact for them. When Z feels all hope is lost, he broadcasts a signal for all survivors to rally with him to end this Zombie crisis. There is no government and communication any more, so he becomes like their leader. Is there anyone out there listening to him? Time will tell.
Z Nation breathes life into a genre that was starting to die out because of overexposure. So if you have been waiting for a Zombie show/movie that would reawaken your love of the walking dead, then this is the show for you. So make sure to tune in tonight and every Friday at 10p to find out what happens next.

Mr. Snuffleupagus & Mr. Stephanopoulos
September 12th, 2014 under Sesame Street/Muppets, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Mr. Stephanopoulos spoke to Mr. Snuffleupagus on Good Morning America today and we got a mouthful. Try saying Mr. Snuffleupagus & Mr. Stephanopoulos more than once without slurring your speech. Better yet, try spelling their names with your eyes closed. Does your head hurt? I know I was complete mess when I tried to do both challenges back to back. And here I thought that was Sesame Street was supposed to teach us the easy stuff, there ain’t nothing easy about Mr. Snuffleupagus & Mr. Stephanopoulos.
Thanks to trying to saying their names together more than once, I am sounding a lot like Cindy Brady now.

David Letterman likes being yelled at!
September 12th, 2014 under Billy Eichner, David Letterman. [ Comments: none ]

Billy Eichner was on The Late Show yesterday and he did one of his challenges on David Letterman. Basically the CBS late night host had to guess if the name that Billy was reading to him was a Kentucky Derby Horse or a Celebrity’s Baby’s Name. As soon as Eichner started screaming at him, Dave started laughing the hardest I’ve seen him laugh in a long time. He truly enjoyed it, so much so that he didn’t want it to end. By the end of their chat Letterman was screaming back at him just as loud, if not louder.
I guess we know what Letterman’s next venture will be after he retires from The Late Show sometime next year. Eichner’s sidekick.

Hugh Jackman moves in on The Tonight Show!
September 12th, 2014 under Hugh Jackman, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Hug Jackman was a guest on The Tonight Show on Wednesday. He had so much fun on the show that he didn’t leave. The X-Man made the couch his bed and by the looks of it, it was very comfortable. Too bad Jimmy kicked him out because I could watch him on the show all the time.
