The cast of Finding Carter preview tonight’s game changing episode!
August 12th, 2014 under VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

Last week on MTV’s Finding Carter, Carter (Kathryn Prescott) finally saw her mom for the first time since she was taken away from her on that fateful day in jail. Tonight at 10p, she has to decide whether or not to go with the woman (who abducted her and) raised her or does she stay with her family that is blood?
Today, I talked to the cast of MTV’s newest hit about the episode and Jesse Henderson, who plays Gabe said, “There are a lot of revelations in tonight’s episode. There are things that exposed.” What is exposed, he couldn’t tell me.
But the show’s title star was a little more forthcoming about it. She said that her character will spend the whole episode trying to decide whether or not she should run away with her mom or stay with her family. A decision that is made much harder because it is her twin sister, Taylor (Anna Jacoby-Heron), and her 17th birthday, and all The Wilsons want to do is celebrate it together for the first time in 14 years. As Carter spends the day with her family, she has flashbacks to her time with her mom and Prescott said, “It’s making her think that maybe Lori isn’t the person she thinks she was. Maybe these new people are more worthy than she thought they were.” By the end of the episode, she makes a decision. Will she stay or will she go?
The only hint that Milena Govich, who plays Carter’s mom, Lori, would say about the decision is, “I think the audience is going to be surprised by how Carter really reacts and what she chooses to do about it.”
The episode is not only about Carter, another big plot point is addressed tonight. Kyle (Eddie Matos) has been pressuring Carter’s Elizabeth (her biological mom) to make a decision, to choose him or her husband. Matos told me that three-way comes to a head tonight. He shared with me, “There’s going to be a run in between Kyle and David that is going to be pretty exciting.” That run in will play out for the next few episodes. I’d hate to be Elizabeth because it would be hard to choose between those two men. Who am I kidding? If I were her, I would chose Kyle, Gabe’s dad. Who would you pick?
And who do you think Carter will pick? You just have to tune in this intoxicating drama tonight at 10p on MTV to find out.
BTW the cast loves reading your reactions on Twitter; so Tweet them about the episode and let them know what you thought.

GSN’s Idiotest will make you feel smart and dumb!
August 12th, 2014 under Game Show Network. [ Comments: none ]

Quick how many months have the letter d in them? Did you answer one? Then you have already done better than a contestant on tonight’s series premiere of Game Show Network’s Idiotest at 9p.
Each week two teams of two will be asked several seemingly easy questions, but things aren’t always as they seem. Like going through the calendar to figure out which months have a d in them. The contestants will also be shown pictures with several objects in them, and asked which is the correct answer to his question. Sometimes the obvious, isn’t always the answer. So you will feel like an idiot when you fail the test. But when you get one right, you will feel like the smartest person in the room. It’s kind of like they turned an IQ test into a game show, and made it a lot of fun thanks to host Ben Gleib.
So tune in for a game show that really tests your brain and not your knowledge.

April begins Chemo tonight on Chasing Life’s midseason finale
August 12th, 2014 under Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell. [ Comments: none ]

The whole season of Chasing Life has lead up to tonight’s episode at 9p on ABC Family, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Since episode one the drama has been talking about April (Italia Ricci) starting chemotherapy for her Leukemia and tonight she finally enters the hospital for her month long treatment. The first night her mom (Mary Page Keller) stays with her, but the patient doesn’t sleep. Being trapped in the hospital is emotionally hard for her. Then when she starts having visions of her late father, things get so much worse for her. She can’t handle it anymore so she calls Leo (Scott Michael Foster) to break her free from the hospital. He meets her in the hospital’s place of worship and tries to convince her to stay, but are his words enough? Will she run away with him? Especially since Dominic (Richard Brancatisano) is back. How will she explain everything to her ex-boyfriend? How will he handle her cancer diagnosis?
Not only does the show deal with all of the above, it also deals with how the side effects of chemotherapy are effecting her. What it is like to be confined to the hospital. How the nurses act differently to the patients in the ward. The emotional stress it puts on the family and friends and so much more. It is so well done, I implore you to watch their brilliant episode.
As I mentioned tonight is the midseason finale. So there will not be a new episode for a while. ABC Family informed me we are getting a holiday episode and the rest of the season will air shortly after that. I hate that we have to wait that long to find out what happens next. I really wish they would air the rest of the season straight through and then pick it up for a second season. What are they waiting for? It is the best show that the network has ever done, so I sincerely wish that they keep it going. Who agrees with me?

The mysteries of Debra Messing’s new short black hairdo
August 12th, 2014 under Debra Messing. [ Comments: none ]

As long as we have known Debra Messing she has had flowing red curls or waves, but that might no longer be the case. The Mysteries of Laura star posted a photo of herself with short black hair. So did she cut off her hair and dye it? Nope, it was just the actress having some fun with a wig after a long day of work on the NBC cop show that debuts on September 24th.
So do you think she should go for it or stay just the way she is?

A Just Shoot Me reunion on The Goldbergs
August 12th, 2014 under David Spade, The Goldbergs. [ Comments: none ]

Just Shoot Me’s Jack Gallo and Dennis Finch aka George Segal and David Spade are reunited for an upcoming episode of The Goldbergs. Seeing the boss and his employee together again brings as big of a smile to my face as when I found out the modern day ’80s sitcom is coming back for a second season.
On that note the season premiere for last year’s best show is September 24th, so mark your calendars not only for the show but also for this reunion.
