Raise a final glass to Cougar Town’s last season!
May 10th, 2014 under Bill Lawrence. [ Comments: none ]

The good news is that TBS picked up Cougar Town for a 6th season, the bad news is that it will be the show’s final one. At least we will get to see our favorite Cul De Sac friends get drunk for a few more episode and do things only they can get away with. So that is something to drink to!
And maybe if we get really lucky, TBS will give Stan his own show. His old enough for one now, right?
ABC might not have believed in this show like we do, but at least TBS did. And it turned out to be a good thing for the network because ever since they picked it up, they have launched several successful comedies like Sullivan & Son and Ground Floor.

Eric Stonestreet is just like Cam!
May 10th, 2014 under Ellen DeGeneres, Modern Family. [ Comments: none ]

As we all know Ellen DeGeneres loves to scare her guests and Eric Stonestreet is easily scared. So the last time she had the Modern Family actor on her show, she got him good. So you’d think she wouldn’t be able to get him again. But she did and it was oh, so good. I think, his character Cam would’ve handled the scare more manly than he did. What do you think?

It doesn’t take a Mentalist to know CBS is The Crazy Ones for cancelling this show
May 10th, 2014 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS announced the fate of all of their bubble shows today and only one of them got picked up. The Mentalist will be back next season, but Hostages, Intelligence, Friends with Better Lives, Bad Teacher and the lovable and brilliant The Crazy Ones won’t be. Even though the latter was one of the top 10 most watched comedies on broadcast TV this season, CBS didn’t see what I and so many others saw in it. Which is a shame because it was so nice to have Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar back on TV in a show that suited both of them perfectly.

BTWF music videos: Chi McBride in Covert’s Bang Bang
May 9th, 2014 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

via The Arsenio Hall Show
Before Chi McBride was the great actor he is today in shows like Boston Public and Hawaii Five-0, he was singer in the band Covert! Don’t you just love what an awesome singer the 28 year old was in that 1991 music video for Bang Bang? Seriously, is there anything he can’t do?
