ABC is stuck in The ’80something with The Goldbergs! |

ABC finally made a totally rad decision and picked up The Goldbergs for a full season. They also made the awesome decision to do the same for The Trophy Wife. But sadly they told Back in the Game to gag them with a spoon after their unlucky 13th episode airs. When it comes to the other new comedy, Super Fun Night, ABC has only ordered 4 new episodes for the show that has been anything but super or fun.
Now back The Goldbergs, this family friendly show has quickly become my favorite new show of the season. In fact, I have watched every episode like 5 times, because I adore it that much. It is also a show that both my father and I can enjoy as a family even though we live on opposite coasts. We each see a little bit of our lives in the show creator’s Adam F Goldberg’s life. That is what makes this comedy so special; it is all of our lives in a half hour. We might not want our dirty laundry aired on television, and thankfully Goldberg doesn’t feel the same way. So make sure to tune every Tuesday at 9p to catch this darling show. That is until ABC finally makes the smart choice and pairs The Goldbergs with Modern Family in the 9p hour on Wednesdays.
Finally when it comes to The Trophy Wife; I wasn’t in love with the pilot, but the show has quickly won me over by being so endearing and sweet.

Harrison Ford was a guest on Late Night yesterday and he used the force to pierce Jimmy Fallon’s ear! Maybe it is because I am a sadist, but I enjoyed watching how nervous the NBC late host was as he waited for Indiana Jones to stick a little needle through his ear. As someone who has piercings, they don’t hurt to get but the first time you get one the anticipation is beyond painful! It also didn’t help Fallon that Ford was enjoying torturing him. Thanks Han Solo for that. If this acting thing doens’t pan out, he can so get a job as a piercer!

Ever since Lisa Rinna started on Days of our Lives over 20 years ago, she has pretty much had the same hairstyle. Well that has all changed because the actress debuted her new very short new hairdo today. I think she looks fabulous! I hope she keeps the shorter locks for a little while because it really works on her.

Yesterday on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno’s monologue was interrupted by a scary phone call. All the caller would say is “Get out” in a very creepy voice. So who was the person on the other end of the phone? You will just have to watch to find out…

A big theme of the hysterical CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girl is the cupcakes that Max makes, so Sprinkles is honoring the show with a cupcake of their very own for National Vanilla Cupcake Day on November 10th. The Not So Vanilla cupcake will be available at all Sprinkles locations from today until the November 15th. So what it is a Not So Vanilla cupcake, it features a graham cracker bottom, vanilla cake with chocolate chips, topped with dark chocolate frosting and a dash of fleur de sel. Just like the stars of sitcom, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, I can’t wait to get my hands on one because the cupcakes look as scrumptious as the show that airs Mondays at 8:30p. Yum Yum!!!
