This Japanese ad will leave you with tire tracks…in your underwear!
December 4th, 2013 under Ads. [ Comments: 1 ]

A tire company in Japan called, Autoway, came up with an interesting way to promote how durable their tires are. Only problem is that the tire tracks it leaves will not be on the road, but in your pants because it is one of the scariest, if not the scariest, commercials ever created.
Granted it didn’t bother me, but I am desensitized from all the horror movies I have already seen that are just like this ad.
Were you scared? More importantly would you buy their tires after watching that commercial?

The Dancing Usher vs the Kid take 2!
December 4th, 2013 under Jimmy Kimmel, Usher. [ Comments: none ]

On November 19th, Detroit was rocked when a cute little kid, with dance moves to die for, was in a Dance-Off during a Pistons game with one of the ushers and it was all caught on the Dance-Cam. Well Jimmy Kimmel Live flew Antoine Alexander (kid) and Shannon Sails (usher) out to his Hollywood studios for round 2 and what we got is something that is sure to bring a smile to your face. I know it did to mine. Especially when Guillermo got into the mix!
I love these two so much that I wish someone would give them a dancing show. I could watch them battle it out for hours on end.
BTW if you missed the original Dance-Cam video, you can watch it below.

Martin Bashir resigns over Sarah Palin comments
December 4th, 2013 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Martin Bashir resigned from MSNBC today after comments he made about Sarah Palin. The anchor basically someone should sh!t in her mouth during a long commentary bashing the former Vice Presidential nominee.
Bashir released this statement to Mediaite:
“After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday.
Upon further reflection, and after meeting with the President of MSNBC, I have tendered my resignation. It is my sincere hope that all of my colleagues, at this special network, will be allowed to focus on the issues that matter without the distraction of myself or my ill-judged comments.
I deeply regret what was said, will endeavor to work hard at making constructive contributions in the future and will always have a deep appreciation for our viewers – who are the smartest, most compassionate and discerning of all television audiences. I would also wish to express deepest gratitude to my immediate colleagues, and our contributors, all of whom have given so much of themselves to our broadcast.’”
No matter how you feel about Sarah Palin, a respectable newsperson should never ever say anything like that on the air. I miss the days when journalists were supposed to be unbiased, but those days are gone. If they are going to have a bias, then they need to be respectful of the people they cover and remember we are tuning into them because we trust them. This goes for all journalists. We need to go back to the old days. We need to keep news with the newsanchors and the opinions to the people who give editorials and/or critics.
When it comes to Bashir, personally there was just something I didn’t like about him since I saw him do that interview with Michael Jackson all those years ago. I am now a critic and no longer a journalist, so I can give my opinion.

Sesame Street is airing a Christmas Special and Bert and Ernie are getting their segment on it. But they are not starring in it, Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa from The Sopranos are playing them. Let’s just say it doesn’t go that well. How does it end? The same way as the series if you know what I mean…
