I guess Charlie Sheen isn’t a Jamie Lee Curtis fan?
November 25th, 2013 under Charlie Sheen, Jamie Lee Curtis. [ Comments: none ]

A few weeks ago Charlie Sheen offered to make peace with his ex-Two and a Half Men boss, Chuck Lorre, and over the weekend he had some harsh words for another Hollywood celebrity. He Tweeted the above comments about her salt and pepper hair and included the below photo. If it stopped there, then maybe it would be OK. But he ended his Tweet with (B)Witch. I don’t think he is referring to her Scream Queen past, so I am not sure why he called her that. Especially since it seems that everyone but him likes her.
I guess we will find out soon enough what he has against her. And I am sure in due time they will kiss and make up on his show Anger Management.

Katie Couric is finally out of TV News!!!
November 25th, 2013 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Yahoo! announced today that they made the mistake of hiring Katie Couric to do their news. OK, they think it is good idea, but I think it is a mistake. I think she is the most overrated “newsanchor” out there and I can’t believe she keeps getting hired. After being all perky and annoying on The Today Show, CBS hired her to host CBS Evening News and the show bombed. Even though the newscast lost half its viewers during her run, ABC gave her a boatload of money to do a daytime talk show and be part of their newsteam. A talk show that no one talks about because there is nothing to talk about. Well today less than three years after ABC hired her to do their news; Yahoo hired her away to be their Global Anchor. Which would be more exciting if this was the time of Friendster, but it is the time of Google and Facebook so no one cares.
Once ABC finally cancels her talk show, we will finally be done with her fake smile and outdated hairdo on out television sets. A time according to my past employers (yes plural) was a long long long time coming.
Now when it comes to her talk show ending, which everyone assumes it will, hopefully ABC will be bring back the soap operas (All My Children and/or One Life to Live) they cancelled for her snoozefest called Katie.

RIP Brian Griffin
November 25th, 2013 under Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

Family Guy shocked us all yesterday (different than they normally do), when they killed off the family dog Brian. No one knew (or possibly cared) that it was coming. Now that we know that our favorite talking dog since Scrappy Doo is hanging out at the Rainbow Bridge, we suddenly care.
The once cancelled animated show didn’t even give us time to grieve because they replaced him with a new dog before the episode ended. Peter’s new best friend is named Vinny and I haven’t been this upset about a change since Felicity cut her hair off. The new addition is such a turn off to me that I am thinking of giving up the show.
Hey Seth MacFarlane, is there any way you can do what you did in Ted and bring back Brian? Afterall it is a cartoon and dogs can come back without an issue.
Take note The Simpsons and be careful who you kill off because I think people will feel the same way as I do about the death/replacement of a fan favorite.
