Why is Steve Harvery afraid of this Family Feud contestant? |

Steve Harvey likes to ask the contestants on Family Feud what they do for a living and he quickly regretted asking that question to Diann Franchina. When he asked her what she does, she told him “I just bought a 9mm and I’m learning how to shoot.” Then she added with excitement, “And I’m good!” To which the host responded with a nervous laugh. Then he made the mistake of asking her what made her want to learn how to shoot. She explained to him that when she was younger her father had a lot of guns but she wasn’t able to touch them. So he asked if that meant her dad was a police officer, to which she told him matter of factly, “No, my father was in The Mob.” At that point Steve Harvey said that he wanted them to win and warned the other team that if The Franchinas didn’t win that they should get out of town. He has a point.

The people of Chester’s Mills will live Under The Dome for another season!!! |

CBS’s huge summer hit Under The Dome will be back for another season next summer. While the news is no surprise, the fact that it took CBS took so long to renew it is. I mean the show is such a huge ratings success in the summer, that most fall shows wish they had their numbers. The reason why the numbers are so spectacular is because the show is really good. I have said it before and I will say it again, the television version is so much better than the book. And on that note Stephen King, who wrote the book that the show is based on, will be writing the season 2 premiere. I can’t wait to see what he has to say since the show is starting to really distant itself from his words.
BTW Under The Dome airs a new episode tonight at 10p on CBS, so why not check out the biggest summer show in at least a decade!
UPDATE: The CW announced today that they are picking up their surprise summer hit Whose Line Is It Anyway? for a 24 episode second season. Now I just need NBC to pick up Hollywood Game Night, CBS not forget about Unforgettable, ABC Family keeps spelling with Spell-mageddon and USA to attend Summer Camp again and I will be a very happy camper.

Unforgettable is back and don’t forget to watch it1 |

Unforgettable was wrongfully cancelled by CBS and they quickly learned they made a mistake. Instead of bringing back 2011-2012’s #1 new show in the fall, they decided to hold it for the summer.
Well in that time Unforgettable reformatted the show, and good procedural is now an great one. Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery) and Detective Al Burns (Dylan Walsh) are asked to help find a young girl, who has been kidnapped, by an elite task force within the NYPD. With Carrie’s memory and Burns backing her up, the two of them are unstoppable; but is that enough to find this little girl before it’s too late?
Then at 10p Carrie and Burns have officially left Queens for Manhattan and they’ve joined this elite task force. There next case puts Carrie in the line of fire as she goes undercover as a bank robber. Not just any bank robber, but one of the best in the world. How far will she go? Will she be caught as an undercover cop by the crew? You will have to tune in to find out.
The move from Queens to NY makes this cop drama different than the rest. I really like the change and think it made this strong show even stronger. Another change is they are not focusing on Carrie’s dead sister’s murder as much and just concentrating on the case, another change I approve of.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is Carrie’s Unforgettable memory and that also makes this show different than all the others.
So whether you watched season 1 or not, tonight is the perfect time to start watching Unforgettable.

The Celebrity Apprentice isn’t hired or fired just yet |

Even since NBC announced their 2013-2014 primetime schedule, it has been a little confusing if The Celebrity Apprentice will be back for another season. Well yesterday at the NBC TCA summer press day Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, gave an update on the situation. He said, “In a celebrity iteration of The Apprentice, we obviously need to know that we can cast the show. That’s the bit of the process we’re in, which is the restocking of the celebrity pond is how I describe it. That can take some time. So no imminent plans for an announcement.”
So even though Donald Trump said on a conference call at the end of the All-Star season that they were casting for next season, sounds like they hit a major road block. I am surprised that they are having a hard time filling the boardroom because of the celebrity reality competition shows, this one seems like a good one to do.
