BTWF roles: Jane Lynch in Vice Versa
June 10th, 2013 under Before They Were Famous, Glee, Jane Lynch. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 3:14 in)

Before Jane Lynch was coaching high school cheerleaders on Glee, she was an executive at the place where teens like to shop in Vice Versa. She looks the same now as she did when she was 27 in that 1988 movie.

Jane Lynch crossed everything off her bucklet list thanks to Annie!
June 10th, 2013 under Broadway, Jane Lynch, Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

Last night Jane Lynch wowed us when she sang Little Girls from Annie at the Tonys and I spoke to her about starring in the Broadway show at a set visit for her upcoming NBC game show Hollywood Game Show right before she left to do it.
Lynch will be hosting Hollywood Game Night starting on July 11th at 10p and I asked what was left on her bucket list because she has done TV, movies, hosted the Emmys, won one and now can add hosting a game show to the list. She told me, “I don’t have a bucket list.” She then explained, “It was Broadway, it was the last thing on it. I thought a Broadway musical was preposterous, in terms of fantasy.”
Well that fantasy is now a reality until July 14th. So how did it happen? She told us, “I didn’t seek out Annie. It kind of just feel into my lap. Things happened perfectly, it just showed up one day.”
And another thing that happened perfectly was before she sang Little Girls on the Great White Way and on The Tonys, she sang it on Glee. Here’s a little tidbit about how that happened, creator Ryan Murphy did that on purpose for her to cross promote her Broadway musical debut. And she admitted, “It’s a perfect song for Sue Sylvester too.” There is a lot of Miss Hannigan in Sue Sylvester if you think about it.
As you might remember in 1982 Carol Burnett played Miss Hannigan in the movie version of the musical; and the lendary comedian also played Lynch’s mom on Glee. So I wanted to know if the former head of the oprhanage had any words on how to run the place now. Lynch said, “She was the first person to text me and say, ‘Congratulations, enjoy it.'” Then she added that Burnett, “is the best.”
And Jane Lynch is up there with Carol Burnett when it comes to be being the best out there in the comedic world. Something you will really see her shine at when Hollywood Game Night makes it debut next month. I honestly think that the NBC game show will be the biggest hit of the summer. Everyone in the family will enjoy it and then after the credits roll, they will want to play the games with their friends and family. I know I have played a few with my friends already, and I will be honest I sucked just as bad them. But that is the fun about Hollywood Game Night. So mark your calendars to watch the show on July 11th, I promise it will be the latest addiction of your TV viewing and you are not going to want to miss celebrities and non-celebs go all out in the spirit of competition as they play games we can all play at home. The best part is we get to see them make fools of themselves. Who doesn’t love that? And who won’t love this show?
What more do you need from great television? Nothing, so make sure to watch it. And tell your friends and family to too, so that you can play these fun embarrassing games with them when the episodes end.

It would be a Major Crimes if you didn’t watch King & Maxwell!
June 10th, 2013 under TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

Major Crimes is back on TNT’s case at 9p and it is going to be a good season. The first case deals with the death of Hollywood producer’s wife and he is the leading suspect. Doesn’t help that his first show was a reality one about looking into criminal cases. So did he learn something from that show or is someone setting him up?
But tonight’s episode isn’t only about solving that crime, Rusty Beck is being prepped for his testimony and the new case worker doesn’t think he should be living with Capt. Sharon Raydor. Will he be taken away from her? You will have to tune in to find out.
Then at 10p King & Maxwell debuts and you are going to love this fast-paced, fun private eye buddy show! Sean King (Jon Tenney) and Michelle Maxwell (Rebecca Romijn) are two ex-Secret Service agents who are now working as private eyes. Both of them were let go for two very different reasons and it explains why they are the way they are. They get things done in their own special style and that will get them in trouble the people who do things by the book.
Maxwell & King is unlike other procedurals because it is so fast paced and you never know what is going to happen next. Plus their chemistry is what makes the show. As of now their characters are not sexually involved, but I totally want them to hook up because that is how great they play off of each other.
So tune in for a procedural that is original and enjoyable tonight and every Monday at 10p on TNT!

The one time Superman is not faster than speeding bullet!
June 10th, 2013 under Pornody. [ Comments: none ]

The first trailer is out for the pornody Man of Steel XXX and we will finally get to see what it like to have sex with Superman. Let’s be real with all of his superpowers that is one many of us have wondered about. Although if it was going to be accurately portrayed, his sex scene would take up the whole movie. At least that is how I pictured it.

A picture made in Adult Contemporary heaven!
June 10th, 2013 under Richard Marx. [ Comments: none ]

Richard Marx Tweeted a picture Michael Bolton and himself doing duck lips and I can’t help to think how many of my readers were conceived during one of the singers’ songs. Let’s be real most of the greatest and cheesiest love song in the ’80s were performed by one of them. In fact their songs still work to turn me, I mean people, on. So much so the Hazard singer Tweeted this with the picture, “Not gonna lie. @mbsings is a great singer, humanitarian, and friend… and also not a bad kiss for a dude.” Awww could you imagine if they did a duet together? There would be a lot of wet panties and babies on the way!
