Yesterday I went to a screening of tonight’s The Vampire Diaries that airs at 8p on The CW and so much good game changing stuff happens that I can’t tell you about it. I am not even kidding you, I got a really long list of Do Not Reveals after the screening. So instead of revealing anything that would spoil the episode for you, I will reveal to you that you don’t want to miss it. It is shocking moment after shocking moment and just when you think you know what is going to happen next things don’t go as thought you it would. Do you need anymore reason to watch? I promise you die hard fans, you are so not going to be disappointed in tonight’s heart pumping episode.
Fame Flynet
Simon Le Bon came out for an event yesterday and he looked more like an aristocrat from the early 1900’s than a rock star in the year 2013. Rockers from ’80s are supposed to be Wild Boys wearing leather pants or jeans with holes in them, black boots and a T-Shirt, not a suit with an ascot. Now when it comes to that mustache at least he lost the curled up handlebar and that is the only positive thing I could say about it.
I don’t get how his model wife lets him out of the house looking like that, you’d think all she wants is her husband to be fashionable for this century and not for a hundred years ago.
The Duran Duran lead singer’s look is A View to a Kill, but not in a good way. So please someone kill that style now, so I don’t have to view it again.
Before James Roday could solve anything on Psych, he wasn’t able to help his classmate have an orgasm in Coming Soon. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 1999 movie.
CBS announced today that it was picking up 14 additional shows to the 4 that they already announced for next season. Rejoining The Big Bang Theory, CSI, NCIS and How I Met Your Mother on the Eye is 2 Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS LA, Survivor, Person of Interest, Elementary, Undercover Boss, Blue Bloods, 48 Hours, 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife and The Mentalist. So what shows weren’t renewed? Rules of Engagement was not picked up last year until days after the upfronts, so never count this sitcom out. Golden Boy is still a relativity new show, but I am sure it is airing in the slot that will most likely go to the NCIS: LA spinoff. Vegas which has not tested out its new timeslot of Fridays at 9p, and I bet if it does well there it will be back next season. CSI: NY which I am assume CBS is waiting to see how the last two shows do before they make a decision. The show that shocked a lot of people because it was not on that list is Criminal Minds. It still does OK, but I guess CBS is waiting to see what pilots they have before they make a decision. And there’s one show that is missing from the list and that show is Two and Half Men which CBS hopes to bring back for another season.
So while CBS picked up almost all of it’s shows for next season, the other networks will be cancelling most of theirs.
