Body of Proof is back on ABC tonight at 10p with some fresh faces and that has breathed some new life into this show about death.
The show picks up a few months after the season finale with Dr. Megan Hunt finally returning to work after that fateful day. Something she might regret doing because while investigating a serial killer, someone kidnaps her daughter so she will stop looking into the case. But this is Dr Megan Hunt, do you think anyone can tell her what to do?
This season Hunt will be getting some new people to help her out. Her ex Tommy Sullivan (Mark Valley) who’s a cop, has moved to Philly and he will be assisting her on cases. His partner Detective Adam Lucas (Elyes Gabel) is a know-it-all, but his knowledge comes in helpful. Now I normally hate when a show is retooled, but these two give the show a new dynamic that works well.
I also think I am accepting of the changes because Geoffrey Arend as Dr. Ethan Gross and Windell D. Middlebrooks as Dr. Curtis Brumfield are still on the case. These two need their own spinoff, but for now I enjoy them on Body of Proof as much as I enjoy the show!
Jason Biggs and his wife Tweet about The Bachelor every Monday in their own special way and yesterday he added this picture to their gallery of TMI pictures dedicated to the show that has included one of his testicles with a happy face. Well now he has recreated that infamous scene from American Pie with an Us Weekly and said “Oops, just took his virginity.” I just don’t know what to say about that photo. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words and this one only leaves me one, “ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!”
Cult is the most addictive show on The CW and tonight at 9p you can find out why! The drama is a show within a show, and it will have you under its spell before the opening credits begin. The CW’s shows are known for having a cult following, so it makes sense that they would do a show that has such a following that people would be trying to recreate it their own lives when they turn their televisions off. Does that make sense? It will when you watch my favorite new drama of the season.
Jeff (Matthew Davis) is a recently fired Washington Post investigative reporter who has moved to LA. Nate, his younger brother is so addicted to the show Cult that he plays along with other fans. When Nate gets the final clue to a mystery, he goes missing and now his brother is trying to find him. When Jeff goes to the set to learn more about the show, he meets Skye Yarrow (Jessica Lucas) a research on Cult. Together the two pair up and learn more about the fans that take fanatical to a whole new level. These viewers are willing to risk their lives to keep the game going and that means they will lose more than the game, they will lose their lives.
Along with learning about the fans, we get to watch the show that has them so brainwashed. Robert Knepper plays the actor Roger Reeves who plays the scary cult leader Billy Grimm perfectly. The EP is mysterious man, who no one ever sees. Does he really exist? We will have tune in to find out.
Ever since I watched the pilot over the summer, I have wanted more. I am so happy that you will finally be able to experience this original and well-executed suspenseful show tonight. I have a feeling that Cult will have a cult following by the end of its first episode.
We have all seen a commercial that has scarred us for life, and for me it was those creepy Burger King ads. Well for Kyra Sedgwick it is any commercial with talking food. Her husband Kevin Bacon was on The Tonight Show yesterday and he told Jay Leno it all started with the California Raisins commercial and continued from there. So when he was offered a commercial where he would be a talking peanut and an M, he turned it down because his marriage is more important. But Six Degrees man, telling the TV world about her phobia might not be helping your marriage. It might be a Closer, with a bad Following.
Jimmy Kimmel issued another YouTube challenge to his viewers last week and several men took him up on Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Gave My Wife or Girlfriend A Terrible Gift For Valentine’s Day. Watch the video that aired on JKL yesterday and see how even though these men grew up to have women in their lives, they are still acting like little boys. And they will have just as much sex as they did then for some of those antics that they did now.
