Barbara Walter was hospitalized 10 days ago after she fell and cut her head, and she has remained there with a low grade fever ever since. Today on The View Whoopi Goldberg revealed what has been ailing her, she said 83 year old newswoman has the Chicken Pox. That’s right the octogenarian has the childhood viral infection. The doctors want her to rest and according to Whoopi she is not allowed any visitors at the time. No word yet when she will be released and back on the ABC talk show. Hopefully she will be better very soon.
It appears she is on the road to recovery because why else would her co-hosts joke about it. Joy Behar said that is what she gets for interviewing Honey Boo Boo and Elisabeth Hasslebeck said she thought she was pregnant. With friends like that, who needs Rosie O’Donnell or Star Jones?
BTW I, like Barbara Walters, have never had the dreaded Chicken Pox, but I got the vaccine a few years ago. I am surprised her doctor didn’t do the same.
If Simon Cowell isn’t wearing a black T-Shirt that isn’t as least two sizes too small or no shirt at all, then he is wearing a something that shows off his hairy cleavage. All I have to say to all of those looks is that none of them have the X Factor. I know he thinks he is a Right Said Fred song, but I don’t know anyone else who does. Do you think he is as sexy as only he knows it?

The latest Hallmark Hall of Fame movie debuts on ABC tonight at 9p and you don’t want to miss The Makeover!
Hannah Higgins (Julia Stiles) had her political dreams squashed when she lost the US Congress election to a local weatherman. When he dies in a freak accident, his seat on open and will be decided in an upcoming election. So when the uptight educational consultant finds that out, she decides to run again. But when she meets with a bunch of political consultants who tell her everything is wrong about her, she has second thoughts. That is until scruffy Elliot Doolittle (David Weston), a local beer delivery man comes to her for help to look and sound better so he can a better job at the factory. So Hannah and her co-worker Colleen Pickering (Camryn Manheim) make a bet that if they clean him up and get him to sound more educated, he could win the Congressional seat she wanted so badly. So they give him an exterior makeover and what a difference a haircut, a shave and a suit make for him. Now it is time to work on the interior and boy do they have their work cut out for them. Sometimes when you start with a blank canvas, you wind up getting the perfect painting and that is what Hannah is getting with Elliott. But is that enough to get him elected? Plus this is a Hallmark movie, and you know that should mean that something is going to happen between the leads but will it?
You have to tune into this movie that makes elections fun, so watch it tonight on ABC at 9p.
