Charlie Sheen says Lance Armstrong should get a paper route!!!
January 30th, 2013 under Charlie Sheen, Jay Leno. [ Comments: none ]

Charlie Sheen is a guest on The Tonight Show tonight and Jay Leno asked him what he thinks about Lance Armstrong. The Anger Management star said that he is kind of a douche. Then he explained that he met him once, and he acted like he was better than everyone else. As we all know now, he is anything but.
Sheen didn’t only talk about the shamed doper, he also explained to NBC host why he gave Lindsay Lohan $100,000. He said that she was shorted that amount of money for her work on Scary Movie 5, so he gave it to her to even out what she was owed. He added had he known it was for taxes, he would’ve given her half.
He also thinks she will get out of all of the trouble she is in. Um, maybe he is slipping again if he believes that. Joking, I think he is a completely different man than he was two years ago! Knowing him them and seeing him now, who would’ve ever thought he would turn out to be such a noble guy?

Before Jason Bateman was a Teen Wolf Too, he was just a kid eating Cheerios. How cute was the 10 year old in that 1979 ad?

The Middle is going through the change!
January 30th, 2013 under The Middle. [ Comments: none ]

The Middle is in it’s fourth season and the Wednesday night show that airs at 8p on ABC is going through some changes. We have already started to see and hear some of the changes, but some are yet to come.
The first change happened before the show even debuted this season. Atticus Shaffer is getting older and part of maturing for a boy is his voice will change. That is exactly what is happening to Brick in real life, and now the show is wondering what they will do with the 5th grader who has the manliest voice in his class. When Show EP Eileen Heisler was asked about that at the ABC TCA press day, she said “He might have to skip a grade from being so smart. Then she added, “It’s so funny because we honestly at the beginning of the year, (we’re) like, ‘Oh, Atticus had a voice change.’ And now we’re really used to it, and as we were backstage, we were walking in, and we’re hearing the clip, and we’re, like, ‘Who’s that? Oh, my God,’ you know.”
The second change happened a little later on in the season and that is when Frankie (Patricia Heaton) lost her job. Since the pink slip, she has been trying to figure out what to do next with her life. The mother of three has recently decided to be a dental hygienist. Show EP DeAnn Heline explained that choice by saying that they have a writer who is a former dental hygienist. Then she explained, “It just seemed like something that she could go to school for and not spend years in school.” She also said that there is another advantage about it, “And that sort of seemed quirky and fun, you know.” I can already see all the interesting scenarios that will happen once she start working for a dentist.
The third change will also involve one of the character’s schooling. Axl is graduating from high school this season and now the show has to figure out what they will do with him in the fall. Does that mean that Charlie McDermott will be graduating from the sitcom too? Heline said, “He will be going to college next year, and we do have a way that he’ll still be, obviously, very integral, very a part of the show. Don’t want to give away too much, but he will still be a huge part of the show.” We have to wait until then to find out.
And the fourth change that is also coming this fall is The Middle will be airing in syndication. So if you are like me and started watching it mid-way through its run, then you will be able to catch up with the episodes you missed then! I can’t wait to be watching it from the beginning and as it happens.
So don’t be afraid to watch the very funny The Middle every Wednesday at 8p on ABC because you missed the first 100+ episodes. In a few months you will be able to see it from the start and you don’t want miss out on Sue Heck!

Chicago Fire goes to the dog tonight!
January 30th, 2013 under Dick Wolf, NBC. [ Comments: 1 ]

Chicago Fire is getting a new cast member tonight at 10p on NBC and she is going to be loved by everyone on the show! That because she is a mutt named Pouch and who doesn’t love man’s best friend?
Executive Producer Derek Haas, explained why they added the newest member to the show, “All firehouses have a million stories to tell about a firehouse dog, and we thought she would make a great addition.” Then he added what her role will be on the hot drama, “Pouch will literally grow up before our eyes. Plus, pets are great stress relievers, and firefighters and rescue squads are under tremendous pressure every day, so they will appreciate her presence as a working dog.” And the viewers will appreciate watching a dog work every week.
He also talked about the first time arftress getting used to acting. He said she is not that good at hitting her marks, but she good about leaving her mark. As in she has been leaving a few puddles on the floor. I am sure she will be a trained arftress before they know it and won’t be leaving a mess all over the place.
So tune into see the cutest cast member since Crystal the Monkey on Animal Practice, make her debut on Chicago Fire tonight. Seriously isn’t she arfdorable?

HIMYM will return for How we’ll meet the Mother next year!
January 30th, 2013 under How I Met Your Mother. [ Comments: none ]

For over a month we have been waiting for CBS to announce that How I Met Your Mother will be back from another season and today they made it official. The whole cast will be back for the sitcom’s ninth and final season. Since it will be the end for the show, everyone promises we will meet the Mother.
Yesterday when I was on a conference call with EP Craig Thomas and Cobie Smulders to talk about this Monday’s (most likely final) episode with Robin Sparkles that airs at 8p, I asked if they know when we will meet the mother. At first the show creator said this week and then quickly admitted that that was a (sick) joke. He then promised, “It will happen before the series ends.” And then he reiterated the point by saying, “It’s going to happen, I swear!” Then he asked Robin for a comment and she said “It’s just not any time really soon.” To which he responded equally as coyly by saying it could be soon or it could be later.
So with the countdown upon us, we know it will happen in the next 30 episodes. Either that or us longtime fans will be calling everyone involved with the show a mother, followed by a second word…
Oh and since we can’t even get them to tell us when it will happen, they are also not telling us who it could be. So if you could cast the Mother, who would you want to star in the role? I say Bob Saget in drag because it is about time his face made an appearance on the show!
