Before Archie Panjabi was in-house investigator on The Good Wife, she would’ve been looking into herself on The Thin Blue Line. How cute was the 24 year old in that 1996 episode.
ABC is loving The Neighbors almost as much as I do because they have asked the show for 3 more scripts per a network rep. The family sitcom is fitting in perfectly after The Middle and before Modern Family on Wednesdays, so I have a feeling that the script order will turn in to them ordering the back 9 episodes. At least I hope they do because this is my favorite new show of the fall season. It is so quirky that it actually works and more importantly it is laugh out loud funny. This is the first show that ABC has shown some interest in while the others (Last Resort, 666 Park Avenue) that have debuted are waiting for word what is next for them.
And over at Fox they ordered nine more episodes of the overrated The Mindy Project and 6 more for Ben & Kate that has the potential of being a good comedy once it finds it way. These two shows join NBC’s Revolution, Go On and The New Normal that were picked up for a full season last week.
So if you are keeping a score card that is 5 pick ups, 1 script order and 0 cancellations. Hopefully a show will get the axe very soon.
Yesterday on The Good Wife they aired one of the most talked about scenes of the season so far (and probably for the whole season) and CBS is so excited by it they posted it on YouTube! Even though things between Kalinda and her husband were as cold as the ice cream, what came out of that scene was so hot it could make that soft serve hard! Sizzling!
Tonight at 8:30p Partners does anything but strike out in this funny episode. Ali (Sophia Bush) moves in with Joe (Dave Krumholz) and leaves her belongings unpacked alone with him. She has one box marked personal, and Joe can’t help himself and he has to open it. In it he finds a picture of her with Yankees player Derek Jeter. He has to know what that is all about, so he asks Louis (Michael Urie) to help him out. So Louis says that they should play Celebrity (you have to watch the episode to find out how to play this addictive game) and maybe that can get the information out of her. Well a slip up by Wyatt (Brandon Routh) let’s something out of the bag that puts Ali and Joe’s relationship in trouble. Will another game of Celebrity save things or only make matters worse? You have to tune into this episode that is as rewarding as Jeter hitting a home run in the bottom of the 9th with three men on base and they are down by three!
Fame Flynet
Matthew McConaughey was seen out with his mom in Austin, Tx and he looked more like her husband than her son. The actor has taken off 30 pounds to plays an AIDS victim in The Dallas Buyer’s Club and the 42 year old has aged a year for every pound he lost. If he doesn’t win the Oscar for this role, I don’t know what he will have to do. He has gotten so skinny, I can actually say for once I don’t want to see him shirtless. And I never thought I would say that.
