Kristin Chenoweth was on the season premiere of Anderson Live today and she told the Anderson Cooper about her horrible accident on The Good Wife set. She explained that she told him, “they cracked my nose in two places and knocked me out cold and flattened me down like a fly swatter and my head hit a curb so I had big skull fracture, my neck and my ribs.” I don’t think any of us realized just how bad it was until now and thankfully she is healing.
So as she was describing how injured he was, he told her that he emailed her in the hospital. She then said you didn’t send me flowers, Oprah did but you didn’t. He tried to blame it on his producers, but we all know who thought an email was the same thing.
BTW I bet you a penny that he sent her a huge bouquet of flowers as soon as the show was over to make up for his huge mistake. And hopefully to also make it up to her he got Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand to sing a little song they sang together to her because you know he is good friends with them and can get them to do stuff like that.
Tonight is the season finale for MasterChef on Fox at 9p and one of the final two contestants was actually eliminated from the show. 6’11” Josh Marks was actually eliminated midway through the run of the season and then he got a phone call that changed everything. Last week I was on a conference call with him and I asked him what that was like. He said, “Well, I didn’t know I was coming back to compete. I thought I was coming back to cheer. They said we were coming for some press and media stuff, so I was under the impression that I wasn’t competing anymore.”
As we know he competed with several other eliminated contestants and won his way back on to the show and into the finals. So does he feel he deserves to be up there with fan favorite Christine Ha? He said, “It just feels right, because my elimination to me I felt like it was the bad situation, but I feel like I proved myself leading up to my elimination, and even after my elimination, I deserved to be there no matter what anybody says.” You know I actually thought about what he said, and I think he is right. He was the only Chef who constantly took a risk by changing up what he was given and Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot all enjoyed what he served them. I might be Team Christina, but he definitely earned the right to be in the final two and we will have to tune in to see if an eliminated contestant could actually win the whole thing…
If you are like me, then when you watched Army Wives yesterday you were shocked by the ending and were wondering when will the show be back so we can find out what happened. Well we don’t know because as of now Lifetime has no word yet if there will be a 7th season. So I have to wonder if that cliffhanger was enough for them to say we have to bring the show back so that fans could find out what happened and who survived and who didn’t. It worked for Jericho, will it work for Army Wives too?
I mean it felt like a season finale and not a series one unlike last year’s where they ended it with Fort Marshall about to close. So if you want Lifetime to bring back the longest running drama on cable, then let them know via the Army Wives’ website. Us loyal watchers deserve a proper sendoff for this show. Not saying I want it to end, but I don’t want to have the series’ final minutes to be what we saw yesterday. That storyline needs to be wrapped up and the network shouldn’t leave us hanging.
Tonight is the third season premiere of The Voice on NBC at 8p and the four mentors are going to start the season off with The Rolling Stones’ Start Me Up. I always love when Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera do a number together because even though they each sing a different types of music off the show, they make beautiful music together on it. And I can’t wait to hear what new and amazing voices we will hear from the singing competition this time around.
