Tonight’s Political Animals is a pure masterpiece!
August 19th, 2012 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p on USA Political Animals ends its limited run on such a high that I am declaring it one of the finest hours of television ever.
The episode starts off with Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver) writing her resignation as the Secretary of the State to the President. As the show goes on she hands that hand written note to President Garcetti (Adrian Padar) who tells he won’t take it. That is because he wants her to run with him as his Vice President and he asks her to consider his offer. Now she must decide be his #2 or to run for the top position in the US. By the end of the show she will make a decision about her political future and it is one that will make you beg USA Network to bring this show back for more shows.
The letter also comes into play when her good son Douglas (James Wolk) makes a copy of that letter and gives it to newspaper reporter Susan Berg (Carla Gugino). He tells her this is it and he can no longer betray his mother and his fiancee after their one night stand together. Feeling his guilt, he breaks down and tells his mom he is the leak. Elaine will have to decide what she is going to do with him. Their confrontation will leave you speechless.
But not as much as the one between Margaret Barrish (Ellen Burstyn) and her grandson TJ (Sebastian Stan) who she fears will go back on drugs if he leaves the house. If Burstyn doesn’t win the Emmy next year for this role, there is seriously something very wrong with the voters.
As excellent as all of the above is, it will fail in comparison to what happens halfway through the episode. That moment is a game changer and shows us just how brilliant this show is. The writing, the acting, the whole series it general reminds you and me that television can be great and we need to support shows like this.
So please makes sure to watch this admirable show tonight on USA at 10p and tell everyone you know to do the same. I promise you, you will be as blown away by it as I was.
And USA, please please please pick up Political Animals for a another season next year and make it a longer one too. You can show those other networks that you are Emmy worthy. This show is that good.

Susan Boyle and the man she had Puppy Love for!
August 19th, 2012 under The Police. [ Comments: 2 ]

Susan Boyle got a surprise yesterday when Donny Osmond was at the same studio as her. Boyle has admitted that she had a crush on him when she was younger, so I guess that is why she looks so happy in the photo he posted of the two of them on Twitter. Even though the two have met before, they still look as thought it was the first time their eyes saw each other. So cute!

ABC Family renews Baby Daddy, but cancels Jane By Design!
August 17th, 2012 under Baby Daddy, Freeform. [ Comments: none ]

ABC Family announced today they picked up Baby Daddy, Switched at Birth and Melissa and Joey for another season along with ordering the back eps for Bunheads, but Jane By Design was missing from that list. The reason why is because ABC Family opted not pick up the darling show about fashion for another season. I for one think the network made a huge mistake because Jane is a million times better than Bunheads. The title makes you think the show is going to be about ballet dancers, but all it is about is an unlikable Lauren Graham clone whining about everything in her life. Hopefully when that shows come back, it will be more about the teens and a lot less about the whiner.
When it comes to Jane, I know that Erica Dasher will be fine and we will see her on TV again really soon. Here is how she reacted to the sad news on Twitter, “Thank you so much for everything!!! It was incredible and you all are the best part of that experience. Love love love”
Now when it comes to the other renewals, I am so happy that ABC Family is bringing back the very funny Babby Daddy and the touching Switched at Birth.

Fifty Shades of Grey dolphin!
August 17th, 2012 under Animals. [ Comments: none ]

via Daily Mail
You know how moms tell their daughters there are plenty of fish in the sea, well who knew the fish would take her up on it?
A woman on vacation in Cuba got more than she bargained for when a dolphin jumped out of the ocean and dry humped her. It was a real wham, bam, thank you maam, but it was enough to change her forever.
Moral to story, always douche to make sure you don’t smell like fish when you go to swim with the fishes. That is unless you are into that sort of thing…
