Jerry O’Connell has been cast as Herman Munster in the reboot pilot of The Munsters according to TVLine. As much as I love him, I don’t think he is the right man for the role. He just looks to young for the part because he has such a baby face. I know he will be in makeup, but there is only so much magic it can do.
TVLine also says that Eddie Izzard has been cast as Grandpa and I think that will prove to be a huge mistake. Again I respect his work, but not for this. Now I am scared who they will cast as Lily and Marilyn for Mockingbird Lane.
Lifetime has released the first picture of Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor and in this photo she looks like the Hollywood legend.
Production began today on the much talked about telemovie Liz and Dick and photos have been leaked on the net all day today. So I guess to counter that Lifetime released the first official photo of Lohan with Grant Bowler as Richard Burton and what a picture it is. It will be interesting to see if the movie can live up to the hot steamy affair that 20th Century Fox’s Anthony and Cleopatra had back in the day. I mean what those two had was so taboo we got a city out of it here in LA.
I am sincerely curious to see how Liz and Dick turns out when it airs later this year. I just hope that Lindz can do Liz justice because I am not sure she can.
BTW is it just me or does the photo look more like it is a for Vampire flick than Liz and Dick? I mean doesn’t it look like he is trying to suck the blood out her neck like a Vampire would?
Gordon Ramsay’s two cooking competitions are back on Fox tonight and they are making this summer even hotter than it already is.
At 8p Hell Kitchen is serving up a new cast and they will all be getting a new ‘do. That’s because they will all have to shave their heads if they want to stay on the show. Once they are plucked the competition begins and the kitchen has never seen heat like this. It looks like the show is getting a new lease of life in its 10the season.
Then at 9p MasterChef is back with a whole new set of home cooks, and one of them you will have to see him do his magic to believe it…that’s because he is blind. Since it is the audition phase, you see a lot of delicious dishes but you don’t really get a feel for how the show will play out. But you don’t have to because you know it is going to be as yummy as the last two seasons.
