Madonna’s big FU to Lady Gaga
May 28th, 2012 under Lady Gaga, Madonna. [ Comments: 1 ]

As soon as Lady Gaga’s song Born This Way was released everyone said that it sounded a lot like Madonna’s Express Yourself. Well now the Queen of Pop is responding and she is doing it in a big way. While rehearsing for her MDNA tour in Tel Aviv, someone recorded her mashing up her classic with one of Gaga’s biggest hits. Hearing the two songs together there is no denying how much they sound like.
But it didn’t stop there, it appears she is going from Express Yourself this Way into her song She’s Not Me. Read the lyrics to the song and see if you think the song was a premonition of what was to be?
It looks like we have a Pop War in the works and I think age is going to beat out beauty in this cat fight.

Before Jennifer Finnigan was fighting crime on Close to Home, she was fighting to stop Werewolves in Big Wolf on Campus. She looks the same now as she did when she was 19 in that 1999 episode.

Patty Duke really wants to be on The Big Bang Theory
May 28th, 2012 under Chuck Lorre, Mackenzie and Sean Astin. [ Comments: none ]

Oscar winner Patty Duke really wants to play Sheldon’s MeeMaw on The Big Bang Theory, so she recorded the song Soft Kitty to convince the producers to give the Emmy winner a shot. But she isn’t the only one trying land her the coveted role, her fans have started a Facebook page to help guest star on the #1 sitcom.
I think she would be perfect for Moonpie’s MeeMaw and I hope they write the part for her. Seriously wouldn’t you love to see her on the show and maybe she can even duke it out with Evil Wil Wheaton’s grandmother because she is sick of the way the Stand By Me star has been treating her favorite grandson?
Instead of calling her Anna, let’s call her MeeMaw!!!

Witness: G.I. Homecoming is the perfect way to end your Memorial Day
May 28th, 2012 under National Geographic. [ Comments: none ]

Today is the day we remember the soldiers who died while trying to protect us, but on National Geographic Channel we see a few of them come home and surprise their families. At 10p Witness: G.I. Homecoming shows five families’ surprise reunions after their loved ones return home from protecting our country. But isn’t just their reunions that we witness, we hear how it all came about and listen to their reactions when they see each other for the first time in a really long time. If you think that the above raw video is beyond emotional, it will make you cry even more when you hear the back story edited together with it. I cried happy tears while I watched her story and the sister who only wanted her brother at her graduation. Then there is a son who goes to his mom’s job to surprise her and his mom’s reaction will leave you grabbing for the tissues. There are a few more reunions that will tear at your heartstrings, but isn’t that what today is all about. Yes we are remember the ones that didn’t make it home, but let’s also remember the ones that do.
I want to thank all of the people who have fought and continue to fight to make us safe from harm. Thank you.

Gordon Ramsay’s soccer nightmare
May 28th, 2012 under Gordon Ramsay. [ Comments: none ]

Gordon Ramsay found out Hell’s Kitchen is nothing compared to the soccer field. While the infamous chef was playing a charitable game of soccer, he was taken down by Teddy Sheringham and then he was rushed to the hospital when he couldn’t get up. The Kitchen Nightmares star Tweeted today, “Thx 4 all the messages. Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine Gx” And with that Tweet Fox is breathing a major sigh of relief because what would they do without their MasterChef?
He wasn’t the only celebrity playing on his team Soccer Aid 2012, he was joined by Michael Sheen, Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers, James McAvoy, Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, Woody Harrelson and Edward Norton.
