Who dodged being cut from Glee?
May 17th, 2012 under Glee. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since we found out the seniors were graduating from McKinley High, we have wondered who will be graduating from Glee and who will be left back. Well The Vulture for the low down from show creator Ryan Murphy and here’s what he said: “We had a meeting, and you know we’ve become like a family, and I said to them, ‘Anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show.'” So what about the teachers like Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, and Jayma Mays, he added “They’re all coming back. Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.”
I kind of feel robbed that everyone will be back because I was hoping to get some new singers and dancers featured on the show and getting rid of others. But then again this is Ryan Murphy who said this and he has lied to us in the past. Remember when he said no more cast stunting, themed shows and cast members will be leaving the show after this season? Well the Whitney Houston episode along with Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker joining the show next season proves he can lie. So I guess he was lying about people leaving the show too or staying now, well I don’t know anymore.
The one thing I have to remember is that Degrassi tried to incorporate the graduating students in the show and it didn’t work out, so they stopped the experiment and I have a feeling Glee will have to do the same at some point.
So are you happy that everyone dodged the bullet or are you like me and you were hoping that they were cleaning house too.

Oy a Possesion movie with a Jewish Demon
May 17th, 2012 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

Every time we have seen movies with possessions of little girls, they have had Catholic ties but that is about to change with The Possession. The Jeffrey Dean Mogran/Kyra Sedgeick films finds their daughter being possessed by a Jewish Demon. Unfortunately the spirit doesn’t nag the parents to death, but it looks like it will scare them and us to death. Seriously how terrifying does that horror flick look? Oy I can’t wait to see it when it comes out on August 31st and I will make sure to bring someone to hold on to.

RIP Donna Summer
May 17th, 2012 under Obits. [ Comments: none ]

Disco Queen Donna Summer passed away today at the age of 63 after a long batter with cancer according to TMZ. The singer worked Hard for the Money to get her songs On The Radio and she was Hot Stuff for doing that. Heaven Knows it took one of our greatest voices and I hope she is entertaining them like crazy up there.
So Dim All the Lights, give her a Last Danchttp://www.tmz.com/e and listen to her wonderful music to keep her gorgeous voice alive.

The CW puts and Arrow through their schedule
May 17th, 2012 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW announced their fall schedule and they completely changed everything up except for The Vampire Diaries. 90210 is back on Mondays with the departing Gossip Girl. Hart of Dixie moves to Tuesday followed by another doctor drama. That is pretty sane, but then they moved Supernatural to Wednesdays against the Britney Spears X Factor and J-Loless American Idol and I am afraid for the show. It is like the demons made that decision to mess with the Winchester Boys. I hope they survive because I think it is The CW’s best show. Thursdays is pretty boring, but Fridays just got interesting with the move of America’s Next Top Model. The show is back with two people I never heard of, but for the first time we get to vote. I wonder if that move is too little, too late? I think their smartest move would’ve been to get rid of Tyra Banks, but that ain’t going to happen.
Oh and did I mention that none of these shows are coming back until October. Most shows that debut after September don’t live until the new year because people have already picked what they are going to watch? Pray for Supernatural, the show is going to need it.
